The good: Well-executed photo-archiving and media recovery features; solid array of entry-level tweaking options.
The bad: Lacks true "photo album" functionality; slide shows are not impressive.
The bottom line: Paint Shop Photo Album 5.0's attention to archiving and photo recovery sets it apart from other programs in its class.

Not a Bad Product But...

Pros: Fairly good at organizing photos, printing, etc.
Cons: Photo archive didn't work.

Summary: This came installed on our Dell computer as Dell Image Expert. Upgraded to the full 5.0 version.
By the time I got around to trying the photo archive feature we already had more photos then would fit on a single CD. When we tried to to archive our photos it would burn the first CD and then prompt for another. After inserting the second CD the system would start indexing or something and then just hang. Never could get it to complete the archiving process.

Can't Publish Albums

Pros: None worth mentioning. Software purchased for album creation and publishing of books.
Cons: No interface with MyPublisher
