  EZ to use, has ability to do most anything you want

  Summary: I have used a number of Photo Editors and find that this one is the best for my needs. It has EZ Red-eye removal and excellent automatic (or manual) editing features. Last week we visited NY City and some of the pictures were hazy due to the high heat. Using the 4 automatic adjustments brightened the pictures, added contrast, and removed a lot of the haze. In addition, I used the Wizard to make a VCD (Video CD) Slide Show of our New York City photos and added music from the list of songs. (You can also add your own comments to each slide if you have a Microphone.) No! I don't work for Microsoft, but I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I have purchased the last 3 versions of this software, so that should tell you something.

  Not much improvement over MS Digital Image 9.0

  Pros: Easy to use. I love the smart erase feature.

  Cons: The stitching feature is really lousy.

  Summary: I also have Digital Image 9.0. and love it but it did not have a stitching feature. I bought 10.0 because they claimed to have photo stitching. They do have one of sorts but it doesn't work worth a darn. I do not get good photos with it. I did a trial run with a downloaded stitching program that did much better but decided I'd rather put my money into a Microsoft backed product and also have all my photo editing encompassed in one program. If I'd been able to do a free trial on 10.0 I'd never have bought it. I'm really disappointed and wasted my money on a product that's no better than what I already had.

  I bought MS Digital Image 10 to replace Digital Image 9 solely because it had a stitching feature. Much to my dismay it does a really poor job of stitching photos together. They come out all warped along the sides, what a disappointment. Other than that I really like the program but don't see any improvements over the earlier version and would not have bought it if I'd been able to try it out first.

  Pros: This was the best and easiest photo editor I've ever used

  Cons: It's been discontinued and it's not compatible with Vista!
