  This card has issues

  Pros: Good price for 32MB DDR AGP, Crisp Graphix

  Cons: If you go to run a java applet via netscape or explorer, then exit either brower, you will then get a "ddhelp error". Tech support seems to be baffled by this. All I ever recieve is canned responses to my queries with no resolution to my problem. Typic

  Summary: Picked up the ATI Radeon 7000 AGP 64mb card (putting the review here in the 32mb section because that is all CNet has) for $45 at a local computer show. Installation and driver installation was easy. However, the overall clarity of both text and graphics is slightly off compared to my previous graphics card on the same monitor. Also, movement of windows and scrolling in Internet Explorer is very jerky. I updated to the latest drivers dated only a few days ago and the results are the same. Their website doesn't offer any sort of advice. I never call phone technical support because I have never had a person that knows anything when I call in my 10 years of computing experience.
