Needs clean install.

Pros: Performance is great. In Doom3, my 9200 Pro card gave 2-4 fps but the 9800 gives me 40-70. The included video player allows me to view .avi files at 50% transparancy and runs in the background. This enables me to watch video clips while I read/type ema
Cons: The installation procedure did not remove all of my old drivers, so the initial test was no better than the old card. I went back and manually uninstalled every graphics driver I could find, and then the second install went fine.

Great Card for that price !

Pros: I just tested this card with Half-Life 2 and it blows eye balls !. I know there are better cards but for that price it's the best you can get !

Pros: Had ati 9600xt.Wanted the 9800pro for the extra power plus it has 8 pipelines vs.4 for the 9600xt...Great Price
Cons: Took me about 4 hours to get it to run some what right.Should have been able to use drivers that I already had install for the 9600xt but had to do all over again..Don't figure,uses same driver.But anyways,it's up and running.

Fan connectors are junk plastic

Summary: If they just used a couple screws to hold the fan on the card would be great, but they didn't so buy a couple as the cheapo plastic pins used to hold that vibrating high RPM fan on will die and when it does your card will fry.
