The good: Excellent HD video image quality; easy installation with no internal cable connections.
The bad: Subpar 3D performance, even for a midrange 3D card.

Pros: Nice in game graphics for COD 4 and FEAR combat....DVD movies look great as well....
Cons: The ATI Catalyst Comtrol Center continues to be a real piece of crap....When I exit any PC game as mentioned above, my desktop settings do not reactivate....

Summary: Nice card overall (hardware).....But ATI has got to come up with much better Control Center (software) that actually works....All they ever suggest to remedy the issue is that you reinstall the Catalyst drivers to the newest versions....Well, i've done that 3 times and it still screws up....I've done what they suggested by turning off my AV, Anti Spyware and firewall prior to installing as well....Thinking of returning this card and getting the BFG GeForce 8600 OC GTS....Solely because i'm tired of screwing around with ATI's substandard Catalyst software...
Summary: I Give this card a Strong 3 stars because it's performance is not ideal for gaming in the current day n' age. If I was to say why This card is good it would be because of the performance it can put out for a reasonably cheap card. The bad part is Horrible Driver support and terrible performance when having to run in "Crowded places" like Stormwind in World Of Warcraft. - CSL

Pros: Great output of graphics, ran like a champ for about 7 months.
Cons: Fan was oversensitive and started buzzing after about 8 months, kept having problems with CCC on startup of system, due to conflict with .NET Framework 3.5. Fan finally died about 14 months after purchase.
Summary: Work great on Vista 32. Lot of bugs on Vista 64. I work in QA lab, so I used to setup clean test machine. This card works no problem at all in XP Pro 32 and Vista 32. On Vista 64, you don’t have to do anything, just idle for 6 hours, this video card stop responding and make the whole machine hang. Although the manufacturer just release a new driver version 8.2, the problem still there. It is not easy to find a stable video card for Vista 64 machine since it is not popular. Hopefully the manufacturer will invest their hardware on Vista 64 market.
