would not buy ipaq hx2795b again

Pros: nice screen, great when it works

Cons: totally unreliable, constantly resetting itself

Summary: For an HP product this is the most unreliable HP device I have ever owned, and I've owned alot of HP hardware. I used to work at HP. I think the main problem is Windows CE and Active sync. I have Win 5.0, and Act. sync. 4.5, the latest, however I have to constantly tweek, reload active sync, do soft resets, reconfigure email settings, etc. At least once a week it doesn't sync with Outlook and I have to spend 15 to 30 minutes getting that to work. Huge time waster. At least once a month, I've had it 6 months, I am out of the office, need to look up an email, and they're all gone, so I have to wait until I can play with syncing again to get my email back on the ipaq. I know that's a Microsoft problem, but HP shouldn't be putting that on the ipaq until it is bullet proof. Otherwise, when it's working, it's a nice pda.
