The good: The Jays A-Jays Three earphones are inexpensive and provide impressive sound quality for the money. They also offer a sleek, compact design with a durable ribbon-style cable, and the package includes a splitter accessory.
The bad: The A-Jays Three earphones aren't comfortable for everyone. Jays headphones are hard to find in the U.S, and highs are slightly muddled at times.
The bottom line: The Jays A-Jays Three earphones look good and sound impressive for the price, but not all genres of music perform equally, and comfort will no doubt be a problem for some.

Simply fantastic comfort, sound and build quality
by khari998 on January 19, 2011
Pros: I've tried many many sets of headphones. My main complaint that ALL headphones is that they all tangle really fast. The tangle-free cable on the A-Jays works great. The sound quality is superior and they are so comfy in your ears. They dont fall out.
Cons: They take couple hours of listening to break in, otherwise no cons really.

After they are broken in which took me a day of listening to music, the bass is amazing. For the price, it can easily compare to $200 headsets. To me they are better than the Beats Tour and Diddy Beats. If your coming from Sennheisers or Skullcandys, you can immediately see the difference in sound quality after putting these in your ears. Out the package, there is a hiss at lower volume music. The bass is amazing but not overpowering. the mids are well pronounced. the highs could be better, but thats really no complaint
Build quality
The earbuds themselves are extremely light. The flat cord isn't heavy and doesnt drag it down when you are running or working out. Depending on the type of earplug you use, it will not fall out your ears. You can hardly tell you're wearing them. The rubberized, pasta-like cord, feels like it will last a really long time. From the second you get the earphones, the entire package just feels expensive and top quality.
Look
one word.. sexy. and thats an objective opinion.
Bottom line
I dont know what was wrong with the cnet reviewer. these are simply fantastic earphones for such a low price. you wont be disappointed at all1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

Excellent average-priced SLEEK earphones
by xu_ci on January 12, 2012
Pros: LOUD BASS, they're not kidding when they said these are bass-earphones, which may be your thing. Sound is clear, the mids are slightly muffled compared to the Klipsch S4s, and the highs are very clear.
Oh and did I mention I LOVE the flat cables?Cons: LOUD BASS, which are a bit too loud for me, the bass is so overpowering it subdues the mids and competes with the high notes, not the most fine-tuned listening experience.
Apparently the a-Jays Three is the LEAST bass-heavy of the range, be warned.Summary: Overall very nice earphones for the price. When I brought the Klipsch S4 earphones I got used to its excellently-tuned experience, so now the flaws in the a-Jays seem quite ...
Summary: Overall very nice earphones for the price. When I brought the Klipsch S4 earphones I got used to its excellently-tuned experience, so now the flaws in the a-Jays seem quite apparent.
However these are still one of the best earphones in the price range, might even be better than some more expensive options. The flat cables were the things that brought me - they are durable and tangle-free, saving myself 5 seconds of tantrum whenever I wish to use these. Having said that, the connection between the cable and the jack/earplugs are NOT reinforced, and reviews have claimed these are easy to break, still, better than those thin, flimsy stringy cables.
There are microphonics when the cable is rubbed against your clothes, but hardly noticeable during music. The earbuds offer secure and comfortable fit (to most), and can reduce up to 40dB of background noise, perfect for commuters, not so much for joggers, as the microphonics and the slightly heavier cable may not be suitable.
Sleek design, LOVE the flat cable, very good sound and well worth recommending. -
Noisy when walking
by BOSCO44 on September 8, 2011
Pros: Great design. Sound is better then expected for the price. love the cords.
Cons: you cant move with these. They make an unbearable noise from the cords moving around.
Summary: Basically i will never use them - i dont get how ive only seen one other complaint about the noise you get when walking around with these plugs!

Sorry but it ain't that good
by mbjbif on August 22, 2011
Pros: Nice price.
Tangle-free cables.
Fantastic design.
Great sound (when you are not moving).Cons: When walking around (don't try to run) the movements from the cable goes in to the earplugs making a "glunk" sound interrupting the music.
Almost impossible to get the xxs sleeves on. I got one on and gave up.
Doesn't work with all generations of Ipods.Summary: Great design, good price, lots of awards etc. etc. but in practical it fails. Must say, don't buy. I'm very disappointed.

Good earphones for a good price
by iamnaufal on June 21, 2011
Pros: -Quality sound (bass not too overbearing, crystal clear sounds, good clarity)
-Price is cheap
-Doesn't tangle easily (thin wide cord)Cons: - Not suited for games, movies is still okay
- Although doesn't tangle, the rubbery wide cord makes it uncomfortable if you were to put in your pants ( that is the reason they give you casing, but maybe try get a better casing~)
- Input jack can break easSummary: Seriously worth the money, go get it now. I've tried many brands of earphones before but A-JAYS was the best. The sound quality is awesome, good base and clarity. ...
Summary: Seriously worth the money, go get it now. I've tried many brands of earphones before but A-JAYS was the best. The sound quality is awesome, good base and clarity. Unfortunately the bass is not very deep, which means you will get decent base listening to hard base kickin sounds, but i still find it acceptable.Clarity is beyond clear.
Design wise is ok. The wide cord is a savior for those who hates tangled earphones. Rubber texture not very comfortable for me, don't about you guys though. Some people might like it rubbery...hehe...Rugged, although mine broke after 4 months of usage, but it comes with 2 years warranty. Lifetime of the earphone...not yet rated
Overall: Good earphones at a good price. Worth buying than the other expensive but bad sound quality ones like Beats. -
Best earphones at a great price
by michaelm96 on March 17, 2011
Pros: Outstanding bass
Surprisingly good sound balance
Plenty of ear piece sizes to give a great fit
Flat cable - no tangles!
Beautiful Swedish designCons: Not really any cons. The box, while beautiful, can be a little tricky to open the first time.
Summary: I loved these earphones!!! By far the best I have ever had. Can't believe the low price.

a dissapointing first impression

Pros: Price is OK and design looks nice
Packaging looks like high end product
got a replacement for faulty product at a shop.Cons: - just bought it at electronic shop in the airport ,went in the plane and tried with my IPOD. unfortunately , left earphone was not working at all.
Similar to what you have experience on the review, except this time it broke from the start (not even used)Summary: overall it was a dissapointing first impression on the product. Though i got it replaced with the new one (similar type), it still leave me with dissapointing experience.

Unfortunatetly the sound quality still hasnt been able to overcome my bad experience.. :) , but i appreciate the price and average sound.

The Best in ear Headphone's on the market without doubt
by JSBhopal on November 25, 2010
Pros: Sound quality: Very impressed. Rich deep bass, crisp tops & uncluttered mids
Packaging: Feels very expensive. Weighty. Everything you could ever want was included and presented beautifully
Price: Shockingly low for such quality
Looks: Subtle & sleCons: No cons really except for maybe that they are priced is too cheaply. Which isn't really a con. I would not think twice paying double if not triple for these.
Summary: Extremely impressed by these headphones.
If been through my fair share of headphones, Beat tours, Bang and olufsen A8's, Bose in-ears, Senheissers, and these without a doubt are my ...Summary: Extremely impressed by these headphones.
