Pros: Very comfortable for people who wear glasses, excellent mids & highs, very sturdy cord, attached well to my iPhone & iPad as to my Harman Kardon amp.
Cons: Bass is a bit weak but considering they are open air they are decent, using an amp helps this a lot

Summary: Let me start by saying that these are a great entry into audiophile headphones. For $160 they offer great highs & mids. They are somewhat light on the bass but for "open" headphones they get the job done. An amp corrects this and is a necessary accessory to get the punch for rock and country. I tested these first with David Bowie's greatest hits and the separation is amazing. I then went to Touche from Godsmack and I heard instruments I had never heard before. Then the country, jazz, and well you get the picture. Overall I am very impressed. I bought and returned a pair of "Beats" that were terrible in every sense of the word. I have read reviews about how uncomfortable these are unless you have a big head??? I'm 5'10 and weigh 150 lbs. so I can say I do NOT have a big head. I found these to be the MOST comfortable headphones I've worn. I wear glasses and there was no pressure against my head causing pain. They are very light and this left the first impression they would fall off but that is not the case. These are "stay at home & chill" headphones and not "go jogging" headphones but I had no problem doing things around the house with them on. One review said they didn't attach properly to an iPhone due to the threading on the jack? Again, I don't know what they are talking about. I plugged it into my iPhone & iPad with the Otter Box case and I had no issue. I gave these a 4.5 only because of the bass issue but I would highly recommend these headphones as a first step into the higher end arena.
Pros: These headphones, especially for the price, sound great. They arent sound cancelling, but when music is playing you cant hear anything around you so it comes to the same thing. Theyre also super comfy. Any part of them that comes in contact with your h
Cons: The biggest issue with these is how they look. Being the size they are, they kinda look weird and are kind of annoying to bring around with you. Also, the sound leakage is a bit much.

Summary: The Audio Technica ATH-AD700 Open-air Dynamic Headphones have very good sound quality and anyone not looking to invest hundreds of dollars is headphones then you should definitely look to these, but only if you can deal with the size.
Pros: Headphones have a great soundstage and offer a very clean sound, although not as rich sounding as say Grado's or Sennheiser, but good in there own right. Good headphones for high end gaming because they can provide exellent directionality.
Cons: I will preface this by saying I'm not a bass head but by general standards these headphones are light on bass. Don't sound as warm as other headphones, they almost sounds "sterile". Also if large heaphones are not ok then these are not for you.

Summary: Overall these are good headphones and especially for the price tag, personally I bought mine for 80 even with the MSRP sitting at 250. For gaming which is the main purpose for which they were purchased they are fantasitc giving me extremely accurate directionality with an Astro MixAmp connected providing dolby 5.1. As for music they sound perfectly fine and are far better than any stock headphone found when purchasing most mp3 players, however the size might be a little off putting seeing as they are quite large. With there size also comes great comfort, built in are two spring loaded hinges with pads on the end that when placed on your head adjust to fit the headphone properly every time, and this should allow you to wear these for hours comfortably. Overall I would suggest buying these as they are a great headphone for the price.
