Pros: -Quality construction -Not just bass, good sound through all ranges -Clever folding arm design with headphone input/output jacks on both the R and L sides -Snug fit really good for those with smaller heads -Ultra lightweight for such a sturdy build
Cons: -Price is not for everyone's budget -Still portable, but case is bulkier then Beats Solo -Snug fit that can be a bit painful until the broken-in

Summary: I owned a pair of original Beats Solo's before purchasing these. I was looking for a headphone that is comparable in size that would deliver as good of sound. What I got was much more headphone then I anticipated.
I should start the story with how I came to own these headphones. My Beats Solos were showing some real signs of wear. I travel a lot between the US, UK, HK and Dubai. I like over the ear headphones for their isolation capabilities and superior bass response versus in ear models. However I don't like noise cancelling as I find their sound quality to be diminished. I was originally looking at the Beats Mixr, but was afraid they were too big, comparable to the Bluetooth or Pro models. I stupidly bought the Monster Inspirations not realising they were noise cancelling, but thinking they were smaller and more portable. I got them home and after listening to the first few seconds of a song realised my mistake, boxed them up and took them back to the shop. The Inspirations are more expensive then the Mixr's and sound worse than my Beats Solo's did, very disappointing. I still hesitated on the Mixr's, so the manager of the store took a pair out for me to try. I knew instantly just looking at them they were the right size and the sound that followed was pure bliss.
Bottom line if you like a balanced quality sound and don't mind spending a little dash to get it, these are the cans for you!
