Pros: These are hands down the most comfortable headphones out there. You can't even feel that there in your ear. Oh and BTW, they sound great!
Cons: The can be a little louder for when you in louder places... however, they are not noise cancellation headphones.
Summary: Buy them you want be sorry, and don't be fooled by the Dr Dre headphones there garbage!

UNBELIEVABLE! The sound that come from these is insane!
by bullzeye72 on December 26, 2010
Pros: Comfort in the ear is just about a perfect 10. The stayHear pieces are a little different than anything I have ever used before, but once you get use to it, you will never go back to the others. It even comes with a carrying case and 6 ear tips.
Cons: I love everything about these.
Summary: The sound is absolutely incredible. If you have 100.00 to spend on these, you wont be disappointed!

Great sound, totally satisfied
by Dennisterrie on December 26, 2010
Pros: I find the fit to be very comfortable and the music quality is superb from lows to highs.
Cons: No complaints yet, but these are still pretty new.

Summary: I've had several good ear buds and I like these the best. Compared to V-moda, the Bose sound is much more realistic. I usually have benchmark tunes for the low end (Drift Away, Nightshift, etc.) that I listen to before I make a judgement and these ear buds really get the job done. I'm not talking about thumpin' like rap, but true bass sound.

Disappointing buy..
by omri617 on December 21, 2010
Pros: sticks in ear and doesn't go out easily . that's mainly.
Cons: poor sound , i expected a lot more than that from Bose. the sound is poor , basses are not clear , there is a huge lack of treble . the Stay Hear silicone is annoying even it makes it's work , it's very hard to stick it in..
Summary: I bought these at the Apple Store in Paris , returned them after 1 day of use . I was expecting a lot more from 99 euro earphones. if you really want ...

Summary: I bought these at the Apple Store in Paris , returned them after 1 day of use . I was expecting a lot more from 99 euro earphones. if you really want it you should go and try it first . don't be fooled by the brand. I always loved Bose , but I had 30 euro earphones that gave me more than IE2 did.
with this price you could get a lot more . disappointing.

Fantastic sound
by loflier on November 26, 2010
Pros: I think they sound fantastic. The medium ear pieces fir perfectly in my ear.
Cons: I agree with the review WRT to the treble. It also depends on the setting of your MP3 player. I played with the EQ settings and found one that made the treble less harsh.
Summary: Great sound and damn near perfect fit in my ears equals a good buy for me,

I'm satisfied
by blitz901 on November 21, 2010
Pros: They fit in MY ears amazingly; the sound is pretty good.
Cons: Way too much bass, unless you're the kind of person that likes to make their car bounce with bass.

Summary: I am quite confident when I say the the popular Klipsch S4s sound a lot clearer/better! The detail you can hear from those $90 S4s is amazing. In the end it came down to the fact that the S4s won't stay in my ears because in-ear headphones never stay in my ears no matter how hard I push or size tip I use. On the other hand its like the Bose silicone tips were custom made for my ears. The mids and treble is satisfactory but like I said the lows are completely over powering. I've compensated by turning down the base on my equalizer on my laptop and Sony MP3 player. Not only is the bass over power but it gives the headphones a gurrr/rumbling sound to them. Sorry can't explain it any better. If you like in-ear headphones try the Klipsch S4s before you buy these. Don't get me wrong these are still ten times better than the ear bugs that come with any MP3 player. They also cost 10 times as much as cheap kind.

Summary: I had a couple of Gift Cards to burn so the price was not really an issue. I like the overall sound but it seems I have to turn the volume further up than I did with my old headsets, As a commuter I dont want to get the dirty looks from the volume being up too high. Still getting used to them. When im in a quiter room they're awesome. That being said, Im glad I didn't pay full price.

Perfect sound and very comfortable fit
by DotzAlias on November 19, 2010
Pros: Very comfortable and secure fit with a funky black and white cord.
Cons: Not really 'personal audio' even with the music at a reasonable level it can be heard by people near you. Can't really have it too loud in public places as you do become 'that annoying person on the train with the loud music'

Summary: I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to music quality and as I already owned a Bose docking station which has lasted years and sounds fantastic I thought I try the earphones. The music is crystal clear and awesome for bass, they are extremely comfortable and can easily be worn for hours on end when travelling and I think the black and white cord is quite a funky touch. I really can't rave enough about the quality of the music they put out. I use them with my Sony X Series MP4 Walkman and with the range of EQ settings on the player and quality of the earphones it really makes any genre played a perfect sound.
They aren't noise reducing but to be fair I don't notice background noise when I have them in anyway so it's not something I think is a con.
Downside is if you like your music quite loud people round you can pretty much hear it word for word so I have to keep it fairly low in the office and on the train but still at a reasonable level so again not a major con
Brilliant product though and I strongly recommend.

Amazing sound and Comfortable Fit.

Pros: Great Sound and very comfortable. Even though they aren't noise canceling, they block out the noise fine for me.

Summary: Overall, the most comfortable in ear headphones I have owned. I had the Apple headphones and they were terrible. i tried going to skull candies, but they weren't working for me. They just weren't as comfortable and their design was flawed because they kept breaking. I went back to using the Apple headphones for a while, then I finally just decided to go for these. I saw a lot of people with them, and I am extremely impressed. Great sound and extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.

Great Headphones - Poor Build & Not Durable
by 21Days on September 28, 2011
Pros: Very comfortable tips that only bose has.
Listen to music for a long time without being irritated
Great sound for the price
Balanced bass and the Hi-s and Lo-s sound natural
Cons: Cheap plastic that breaks very easily
The wire starts to wear really soon
The sound isn't loud enough
Summary: I've had 3 of these over the years and each got frayed in the wires or near the headphone jack.

Summary: I've had 3 of these over the years and each got frayed in the wires or near the headphone jack.
Bose needs to live up to its brand and make these durable.
I'm desperately trying to replace these and buy another brand. 3 times is enough!
