The good: The Creative EP-630 earphones are compact, comfortable, and relatively stylish, coming in a choice of five shimmery colors. They offer a reasonable amount of passive noise isolation and solid sound quality for the money.
The bad: The Creative EP-630 earphones are slightly lacking in bass for some songs, and they feel cheaply constructed, which raises concern for durability.
The bottom line: The Creative EP-630 earphones offer a comfortable and stylish design, solid audio quality, and handy sound isolation. They're a good value overall.

I own this earphone, read my review....
by sarkar1208 on October 1, 2009
Pros: Very Good Soundstage, At Just Rs. 800/- in India (approx. USD 16$ only).
Cons: Spiky lower high-frequency, earphone develops air pressure inside the ear canal ( not comfortable for everybody).
Summary: The best thing about this in-earphone is it is very affortable.
The wires are bit thin but long enough.
It has 9mm neodymium magnet driver.
About sound quality..

The wires are bit thin but long enough.
It has 9mm neodymium magnet driver.
About sound quality..
frequencies approx below 100hz is ample but I found a lack of beats i.e lower mid frequencies are not so strong. There is little lack in warmth. The lower high frequencies i.e approx from 4khz - 8khz are very spiky because of which you have to keep the volume low else it will eat up your ears.
Well the best thing about the sound is its soundstage which is as good as in-earphones which cost about 3 times more than creative EP630.
I use sony walkman E436 and creative EP630 but any ways this in-earphone works best with Apple ipods.
About comfort..
EP630 provide best noise isolation. But it has to be weared properly for that. when you wear it properly it develops air pressure ( air-bubble ) in earcanal which puts pressure on eardrum. This is because the in-earphone is sealed from everywhere.
Conclusion..
Anyways this is a very good headphone for it's price..
If you have Apple ipod then this is excellent choice for better experience if you don't want to spend much.3 out of 3 users found this user opinion helpful.

Pros: good overal sound, good isolation, don't fall out of your ears.
Cons: the wires seem a bit sticky, when you make a wrong move it gets stuck easily and you end up pullig a plug out of your ear.
Summary: great deal, good sound just wish the cable was longer sometimes.

by akavishwadeep on June 19, 2011
Pros: Good sound, good bass.
All the features are good For the price. Value for money.Cons: the rubber earpiece is not really comfortable. i have replaced mine with a smoother one.
The wire gets easily tangled.Summary: Its value for money. it gives you the performance of a slightly more expensive ear phone. But not the best in the world

Decent sound, decent price.
by bdkern on February 11, 2011
Pros: Good fit and weight. They feel comfortable for hours and provide decent noise isolation. The sound quality is a little better than average in this price range and certainly sounds better than the iPod earbuds, which sound muddy.
Cons: Every brush of the cord against clothing or my desk comes through and gets annoying, so I have to make an effort to move the cord carefully. The highs are decent, the midrange is a tiny bit too much, and the bass is slightly weak on some songs.
Summary: Not a bad set of earbuds. However, when checking prices on Amazon.com I wasn't able to find any particularly good deals and few sellers. You can get a ...
Summary: Not a bad set of earbuds. However, when checking prices on Amazon.com I wasn't able to find any particularly good deals and few sellers. You can get a better deal on a better set of earbuds if you'll do some research. I found an entry-level set of Sennheiser CX200s for $12.99 at newegg.com and they seem more durable and the sound quality is better, being much smoother across the range. If you find a good deal on these, though, I would certainly consider it.

You get what you pay for, a good headphones.
by BlindTraveller on October 17, 2010
Pros: - Fits great for the first week or two ( I mean sound isolation and good bass ).
- Good sound for this price.Cons: - After about a month they won't sit so firmly in my ears, maybe it's a common problem for all IEMs.
Summary: My first IEM were "Koss Spark Plug" ( 2 pairs ) and I thought they were good, but after trying EP-630 I forgot "Plugs" like a horrible nightmare.
Anyhow nothing is perfect. ...Summary: My first IEM were "Koss Spark Plug" ( 2 pairs ) and I thought they were good, but after trying EP-630 I forgot "Plugs" like a horrible nightmare.
Anyhow nothing is perfect. I've had 3 pairs of these headphones:
- First pair lasted after about a year, left channel stopped working ( Instantly died ).
- Second pair lasted after half year or so, left channel stopped working as well ( Instantly died ).
- Third still living without any problems from 2008.
I don't know if I can recommend it, I have not tested a lot of IEM's, but you will not be disappointed with these. Anyway I know they are better than "Koss Spark Plug". -
Decent, but not great. Although great ear plugs!
by hungrydan on October 12, 2010
Pros: Excellent noise reduction!!! (I use the medium size and they fit fine). Made well from good flexible material, the cords coming out of the earbuds are flexible rubber, and even the cord is made of rubber, which turns out to be a con (see below).
Cons: No crisp highs. No booming bass. Also, because the cord is rubber and not plastic, it often gets caught on clothing causing pull-outs or flat out creating lots of noise!! Also, in-ear plugs, you hear everything you do, like chewing, breathing, etc.
Summary: If you aren't looking for great sound, I highly recommend these for doubling as fantastic noise reducers. But if you want good sound, I would try a different model ...
Summary: If you aren't looking for great sound, I highly recommend these for doubling as fantastic noise reducers. But if you want good sound, I would try a different model or brand. I don't think you can go wrong w/ Sony (my cheapest Sony pair sound better than these), or the other recommended ones by cnet in the same price range.
I use these all the time as ear plugs for blocking out noise while studying at coffee shops or to block out noise on airplanes, even if no music is playing, they seem to block out a lot of sound. I even use these to sleep in when my roommates' noise bother me in the mornings!
I bought these in Beijing for only around $9 USD.! They seem like the real ones, because it came with official packaging with a registered serial number, although there is a small chance they could be knockoffs. They have lasted over 2 years and still seem fine, and well made, so probably are not knockoffs...? -
Came with my Dell XPS laptop... loved them!
by zachchapter1 on September 1, 2010
Pros: Great sound, most comfortable ear phones I've ever used.
Cons: Shorted out after about 1.5 years of pretty frequent use. You hear lots of wind and any other things that bump or brush the wire.

Summary: These came with my Dell XPS 1530 and I tried them for the first time and really was impressed. All I used before were cheap iPod and hard plastic in-ear buds, so these really were a huge improvement. Not sure how they compare to the much higher end ear buds out there, but for the low price these run at I'd guess they put up a tough fight. I plan to buy another pair soon, but the one thing that makes me look elsewhere is the somewhat short life my last ones had. A year and a half is just a little too short of a life for ear buds in my opinion.

Gone through 3 in 6 months
by sprtn029 on August 1, 2010
Pros: They sound great, they are a nice length and you can find them for cheap on amazon. They are way better than stock, and even have a decent bass.
Cons: They just do not last. My first pair lasted 1 year, but only really 3 months of heavy usage. My second pair lasted 1 month, and my last pair just broke after 4 months.
Summary: I really wish I could find a good pair of earbuds that had comparable sound quality to these but also had a durable cord. If you plan on using these ...
Summary: I really wish I could find a good pair of earbuds that had comparable sound quality to these but also had a durable cord. If you plan on using these only on occasion and not carrying them around a lot then they might be for you. These are definitely not for those who will constantly use them. My first two pairs broke while biking and the third while longboarding. I am going to try out other earbuds and hopefully find a pair that last!

by surfer-rosa on April 9, 2010

Cons: If used on a daily basis they simply won't last for longer than 5 months
Summary: Invest in something more durable!

Summary: Somehow I don't have normal ears (??) as very few headphones fit my ears. I've tried this type of headphone, the in-ear one, and so far, this is best one I have ever tried. They fit perfectly my ears and rarely fall out. I almost can't feel them. I absolutely love them! Plus the sound quality is amazing!
