Pros: Up high in the room on the 2nd floor of my complex, range is good and only slight multipath problem in the house itself. Stereo separation on this unit is very good. Bass performance is amazing!
Cons: Who thought of the idea of putting the batteries UNDER the ear cup! That's crazy! Then try to make heads or tails of the instructions to put it back on. It took me taking it to someone else to put it back on! Hopefully the NiMh batteries hold up so I do n

Summary: While some have complained about poor signal coverage it is more a problem with the signals reflecting off things and this headset seems to reject that reasonably well but some interference was noted. I had to carefully listen to the audio on all 3 channels of the base station, (switchable in back). I found the stock channel which is 2 to be noisy and selected another and got better performance. The range IS NOT as far as the older wireless headsets, and an arrangement like Sennheisier has, com pandering really would help here too! There are some annoying noises that occur regardless and you just have to hope it doesn't overpower the signal from the base station. The 900 MHz band is a very busy band and noise is pretty much inevitable. The best you can do is select the channel that minimizes this.
Who's idea was it to put the battery receptacles UNDER the right ear cup? THAT'S NUTS!!! How are we supposed to get the ear cup back on with the instructions provided? Clearly this needed to be better thought out and the battery compartment be made accessible without removing the ear cup. It took me almost a week to get it back on and I had to take it to someone else to get it back on. This is about one of the dumbest ideas I've seen in a product yet!
When it works though the stereo separation and sound field is real accurate. The bass response is really quite amazing, very deep and bass notes have a lot of energy. These were the two things I noted right off the top. I did note some signal drop out but was able to get well outside my apartment before the noise got severe. I would recommend that most people use these near the transmitter though, but it should cover a moderate size household with good signal. They are best used on a TAPE OUT 600-ohm output and seem to produce real good sound quality on that. You can connect these via headphone jacks and of course soundboard output from a computer. Those cables are provided.
My recommendation: Unless you can stand a little interference from time-to-time, don't get these. They definitely exhibit radio like difficulties. If you do get a good signal the sound quality on these is very good.
Pros: Headphones are comfortable to wear Charging Station works well Comes with connection adapters
Cons: Terrible Reception Volume wheel and interface buttons are placed awkwardly Sound Quality is bad at most times

Summary: If I keep the right ear of the headphones pointing perfectly at the base station at all times, the interference is bearable. However, I hooked up my old radioshack wireless headphones which are 5 years old, and also using 900MHz spectrum, and they had no problem with sound or signal quality. I am going to return this product, the constant LOUD clicking noise along with the intermittent white noise can be maddening to listen to.
Bottom Line, the reception quality of the wireless transmitter kills this product. Save yourself some time and stress; avoid these headphones like the plague!
Summary: Following the trouble shooting reveals no solution for white noise (apparently the headset will not pair with the base, rendering the unit useless.
