Pros: the price, I bought it for 29.95 ?
Cons: the sound is poor quality, many bass but no details, the cans sound like compressed, poor treble restitution, even worse at low volume

Great around the ear headphones for the price.

Pros: Cheaper than the leading gaudy headphones. The bass is in fact "Xplosive". Frequency response: 7Hz-23KHz. Not too many headphones sport a good freq response these days. I also dig the ridiculous aesthetic design.
Cons: Treble could be a little bit better.
The actual headphone wires do not unplug from the headphones themselves. If they break at that point, you will have to fetch another pair. These are why I took half a star.
Summary: I have a pair of some premium noise-cancelling "Studio" gaudy headphones, and I don't exactly want to sweat all over them at the gym.

With that said, the JVC Xtreme Xplosives are a magnificent value for the price. I listen to a lot of heavy rock and electronic music, so good bass is necessary.
Sound leaking out doesn't bother me. The premium gaudy headphones that I have also leak sound so I don't understand why this is a con for these.
I mostly bought these for weightlifting. Every pair of headphones I've used up until now continuously slip out of my ears, even the sports headphones. I'll update the review when and if these break from my sweat. If they last 6 months, I'll be very impressed.

Summary: I bought these headphones of ebay for £34 bargain and havn't regreted it one bit the bass they produce is awesome its like your getting punched in the face by it (in a good way). I thought the mid and highs would be distorted but it didn't notice any distotion when playing of my songs. Would definately recommend to anyone who wants a pair of budget headphones!
