OK if you find them on sale

Pros: Inexpensive. Comfortable, comes with 3 sets of silicon rubber ear piece. Comes with a case so they don't get all tangled in your pocket. Sound is good for highs and mid-range
Cons: Weak on bottom end. If you are looking for a full rich sound these aren't the answer as there is very little base or low frequency response.

Sound is thin. Lots of highs and mid range but very week on low end. These might be great for books on tap or pod casts. Music lovers should look elsewhere.

Great sound for ear buds under $100

Pros: Full & rich sound, comfortable in the ears, comes with nice little carrying case, compares with buds with much higher price tags.
Cons: Wire seems a little flimsy...very thin.

Ever since my Sony buds conked out a few months ago I'd gone through several sets of dollar stores, and finally decided there must be a breaking point! I bought these just a few hours ago, have put them through the tests, and it seems like quite a satisfying purchase.
