They are "JUNK"
Pros: Sounds ok.
Cons: I broke the "cheap plastic" arm that holds the speaker. It cost me $10 to ship it to the repair center to fix it. My son broke the very same replacement "plastic" arm... At that point I broke everything by throwing the "JUNK" against the wall!!!!! Stupid

Awesome sound. Great price.

Summary: I bought these headphones to have a great sounding pair of headphones to use while watching a movie at home without disturbing anyone. Before buying them I read the reviews to see if they were worth shelling out $69. The only other option would've been to buy the more expensive Bose TriPort headphones at $149. Once I started using the Pro3AA headphones I was impressed with the rich sound that these headphones were able to produce. However I took them off after watching a movie and while taking them off the left piece above the headphone speaker broke in two. I thought, great, now I have a 69 dollar pair of headphones that I can no longer use. Although Koss does offer free repair of any of their products if you register them on their website. All you pay for is the shipping. So I'm going to send them to get repaired, and hopefully have them back as good as new. In the long run I did purchase the more expensive Bose TriPort headphones.

Extremely Fragile
Pros: Great sound, comfortable.
Cons: Between the two pairs (one pair I sold to a friend) I've owned and the pair my roommate has. One ear cup is still attached in the original way. A slight bump the wrong way will crack the ear cup off.

Summary: the store i bought them from wouldnt give me a new pair after i went through 3 of them in a year. so i started sending them to koss to get em fixed and the most recent pair i've had for 2 years because they sit on my desk at work and i never take them anywhere so they cannot get broken. however yesterday just the act of putting them on my head broke the arm.... koss wont upgrade me to or do anything to fix this defective product.

Beware! Absolute JUNK!
by PJFusco on August 25, 2010
Pros: Decent sound
Cons: Returned three sets so far. Plastic headband breaks - ALL THE TIME!

Summary: These are the worst made headphones I've ever used. Chinese junk (no pun intended). The cheap plastic headband snaps thus making them useless. Koss says "return them for replacement," but it costs $12 every time, thus a really lousy set of headphones now cost what a good set would. The woman at Koss customer service was miserable when I suggested there is a design flaw. She had the gall to tell me, "If there was a design flaw we would have recalled them." Yeah, sure, and Obamacare is going to make health insurance cheaper. Do not waste your money on these. Get yourself a set of AKGs or Shure.

Low quality plastics, great sound
by KarstenK89 on November 11, 2009
Pros: Great sound, good resolution, tight lows and bright highs.
Cons: Low quality plastics. Easy to break.
Summary: The sound is great, but I have repaired the headphones two times, as both arms holding the cups broke, therefore I reinforced it with metal strips.

Summary: I've had these for a few months, and the external right side slider cover broke after about a month. What has prompted me to write this review is now the other side is severely cracked, and the right side is beginning to break off where it attaches to the silver yoke holding the earpiece. While they sound really good, the hassle of now sending them off to get repaired isn't worth it.

They sound like a box.

Cons: Sound, weight, build quality.
Specifications
- Manufacturer: Koss Corp.
- Part number: PRO3AA
- Description: Delivering superb sound with a nod toward comfort, the PRO3AA Titanium is a professional quality stereophone that follows in the tradition of the broadcast and recording industry standard PRO4AA. During long recording and listening sessions wearers will appreciate the PRO3AA's ear-coddling leatherette ear cushions and its overall lighter-weight design just half the weight of the PRO4AA. With a crisp treble, warm natural mid-range, and taut bass, the PRO3AA delivers accurate sound reproduction that won't disappoint. The PRO3AA Titanium features dynamic elements for a wide frequency response from 15-20, 000 Hz. A 2 mil. titanium coating on its diaphragms increases the rigidity of the element, minimizing mechanical distortion and ensuring exceedingly accurate sound reproduction. One-inch (25.4 mm) diameter oxygen-free copper voice coils improve signal transmission and conduction for cleaner, clearer sound. To capture every note and prevent sound from leaking through, closed leatherette earcushions form a comfortable seal around the ears, enhancing bass frequencies and isolating the listener from ambient noise. Designed for frequent use over extended periods, the PRO3AA's durable steel and rubber headband is padded and features adjustable slide bars to ensure a snug fit - critical for hearing every note and keeping unwanted sounds out. The PRO3AA's earcups fold up for protective storage and portability. A heavy-duty, single-entry eight-foot straight cord affords ample flexibility of movement. A 3.5 mm (1/8") plug and a 6.3 mm (ΒΌ") screw-on type adapter, both with gold-flashing, are included. With its precise sound reproduction and excellent isolation capabilities, sound professionals and music lovers alike will laud the outstanding performance and comfort of the PRO3AA.
