  Summary: The Koss Pro4A?s is a workingman?s headphone. I have used them exclusively since Koss introduced them in the 70?s. I was the first at the Major Market Radio Station to purchase a pair. All the jocks ?shared? a pair of 1950?s crystal headset. For someone who?s in the studio everyday and likes the audio LOUD without feedback ?ouch? then you can?t beat these heavyweight headphones. Matter of fact I?m purchasing my 5th pair of PRO 4?s today. KOSS has been my brand for 40 years.

  Fantastic, soft or loud, any music.

  Pros: Great range, the bass is fantastic. If you want to crank up some rock or chill to some softer music, these headphones sound amazing.

  Cons: For pc users, you need to "line out" to an amp and plug into there. (Although any phones that run from your sound card are going to be weak anyway.) They are a bit heavy and can get uncomfortable after a few hours.

  Summary: I have had a pair of Philips headphones for close to 5 years now, and I have loved them. They were lightweight, foldable, and had excellent sound. Sadly, they began falling apart and I realized it was time for a new pair of headphones.
  
  I saw these and thought they would be awesome. I was quite disappointed when I got them for my birthday and started using them. They had great range, but they seemed to loose sound both out the back under the ear, and up next to your temple. In order to get the sound I wanted, I had to hold the headphones against my head with my hands. It could just be because I have a smaller head, but I was let down by these headphones. They are also quite bulky, which isn't good for traveling--when I normally use my headphones. They don't fold, and they are quite heavy.
  
  Overall these headphones were much less than I expected.
