The good: The MEElectronics M6 earphones are inexpensive, and they offer plenty of bass and generally solid audio quality. The design is attractive, durable, and comfortable. A nice array of extras is included in the package.
The bad: The MEElectronics M6 earphones can be too bass-heavy at times; audio isn't the cleanest or the most balanced we've heard.

MEElectronics is a name which most of the people interested in IEMs are already quite familiar with because of their great bang for the buck IEMs range and this one is one of them.
Specifications :

Impedance: 16 ohms

Cable: Designer 1.4m cord (4.59 ft) with attached shirt clip
Memory Wire: Stainless steel

Accessories :
1) 1 Shirt clip
2) 6 pairs of silicon ear tips (3 sizes Single Flanges, 1 Double Flange and 2 sizes of Triple Flanges)
3) Hard clamshell carrying case
Build Quality :
Packaging : Along with your headphones, the MEElectronics M6s ship with a carrying case, and six total sets of removable sleeves. The packaging looks sleek and simple.
IEM: At first glance, the MEElectronics M6 look much more expensive than their 30$ price tag. Most budget earphones opt for a reserved, simple look, but not here. The M6 earphones are very comfortably shaped, with large bodies that fit snugly into most ears and tips that go securely into the ear canal. To make them more secure, there are also flexible ear hooks built into the cables. The housings are made of plastic that feels rather durable
Cable: The cable measures 1.4m and has the usual 3.5mm stereo plug on the end. A shirt clip features on the cable, which will reduce microphonic noise. The over-ear cables has a 2 inches of memory wire.
Microphonics: None unless you really really try. Excellent cable.
Comfort: Due to the housing and the memory cable, getting it to fit and seal properly is a pain. It needs some time to experiment with tips and insertion technique. Comply T400 is an expensive alternative, but comfort would be vastly improved.
Isolation: Perfect fit makes it a major noise isolating IEM. Triple Flanges improves the isolation considerably
Sound Quality:
Amped / unamped: Not much of a difference, these are drived easily by even low power sources
Bass: Lows are M6's Strong points. Good deep low bass but not several tons of it. These feel so much lighter to listen toIt's there deep and low but no great hump of it rising toward the midbass range. This mid-bass hump gives a good overall balance, has great impact and body
Mids: Mids are much cleaner with a slight V shape. They are very evenly balanced in quantity to the highs and lows. Not too dry, not too wet. They sometimes get too sibilant at first. Burn-in compensates it somehow.
Highs: Many complain that M6's Highs are unbearable and too harsh. This is completely due to the fit. They arent that bad even though its their weakness. They are pretty much spot on in the quantity that should be here and they are detailed nicely
Soundstage: As usual for a dynamic it's pretty good. I'd place these as better than average with decent airyness.
Final Conclusion :
In short words, they are fun, cheap and sound great for the money. They are Great performers on trance and electronic music. Works great with gym and running. They are perfect for a budget bass head. Taken as an entire package, M6 is just a bang-for-buck at its price with good accessories for the price. -
True Bang-For-Buck!Best IEM in its range!

Summary: My first purchase from Meelectronics was M6P, I can simply say, Im just amazed by the quality of this product. I had many IEMs before in 30-60$ price range, but this truly indeed is my pick of them.
Heres a detailed review on M6 :
Accessories : Well, Meelectronics really cant go wrong in this part, they provide a solid package of Accessories for all of their products. M6P comes with
1) 1 Shirt clip
2) 6 pairs of silicon ear tips (3 sizes Single Flanges, 1 Double Flange and 2 sizes of Triple Flanges)- Tips are pretty much the best silicon tips Ive used with, they are reasonably durable with good comfort..
3) Hard clamshell carrying case- Pretty hard case on the outside with good soft material on inside making earphones secure to carry on the go
Build Quality : Cable is pretty solid and has low-profile L-plug, Housings are made of plastic. The over-ear cables has a 2 inches of memory wire. Cable is reasonably durable, looks pretty fancy with the new colors, microphonics is very less and can be avoided by using the clip provided.
Isolation : This suprisingly isolates a lot, particularly with Triple Flanges,Double Flanges. Might work well for gym and running.
Comfort: This is where this IEM lags a bit, since its over-ear, the memory wire can cause fit issues for some. Experiment with different sized tips might solve it. With a little knife work, memory wire can be removed making it wearing straight down which might solve it for some, Comply T400 is another alternative which isolates well with good comfort
Sound Quality:
Signature: V-Type Signature
Mids: Mid is slightly recessed but has good clarity, range, extension
Highs: It has good crystal-clear detailing at top of the range, it is little bit bright and is relatively smoother
Bass: This is where M6 Shines, Bass Control is good for the price, mid-bass hump gives a good overall balance, has good impact and body
SoundStage: Pretty good with decent airiness
Final Verdict : Taken as an entire package, M6 is just a bang-for-buck at its price. It is a very good allrounder with perfect steal for trance and electronica listeners though it serves all genres well. Add the amazing Meelectronics Customer Support, you should not worry for techinal/breaking issues. They just have the best technical support to assist you with any problem and might just give the edge over the other IEMs at its price..
Pros: Build Quality, Customer Service, good all-round sound
Cons: Fit can be frustating for some, over-the-ear style might not suit for everyone -
ME M6 - Budget Audiophiles Choice

Summary: If you don't know, these are the most consistently recommended earphones for budget audiophiles. Good strong bass with clear mids and detailed highs. Now let's get to the boring part.
Sound - Punchy bass, relatively clear mids and somewhat bright highs. Very much a V shaped earphone. Cable noise is better then average due to the around the ear design. Some may find the sound fatiguing.
If you're stepping up from apple earphones/earbuds and the like, the bass on these will hit you in the face. It's tight, controlled and it will remind you how fun music should be. It doesn't have the most detailed low end but at this price range, it's definitely excellent. The mids are surprisingly clear and upfront. They don't feel hidden behind the bass. They have very solid mids for a V-shaped sound signature. The highs on these earphones are interesting. They do have very good treble extension. However, personally, I feel this leads to what people call "sound fatigue". It feels like it can hurt your ears after awhile. This really only affects certain people and it is a sound quality that some people love. The cable noise is really non-existent if you wear them around the ear and use the shirt clip included.
Build Quality and Accessories - Best arrangement of tips, solid
The build quality is solid. It seems very sturdy. It's plastic but it's very strong and seems able to take a beating. The ME line of headphones comes with the best arrangement of tips I've seen. You can get triple flange, bi-flange or single flange tips in different sizes. For anyone new to IEMs, the sound quality is immensely affected if you don't have the proper seal. If you are not satisfied with these earphones, make sure to try out ALL of the tips! This is the most common mistake to make and is generally the reason for reports of bad sound quality from well reviewed earphones.
GRAB ONE NOW! You won't regret it!

Great for the price

Pros: Exciting sound and comfort fit with an exceptional cable
Cons: Takes some time to get the fit right at first. Nothing else for the price.

Summary: I did my research online before buying, and I have to say I am very happy with this purchase. I was ready to pay $30+ for these, but found them for less than $20 on Amazon! They are great for music and the bass makes movies seem so much better. Here are some of the reviews I found (in addition to here):

And that is just a few of the reviews out there. There are a few negative reviews, but they seem overwhelmingly positive. I can see where people may have issues with how they fit as I had some issues at first, but managed to use their online guide to help me as well as pulling up and back on my ear while inserting. -
Amazing sound for the price!
by danielcalvinc on October 4, 2010
Pros: Full range of sound. Crisp, clear high tones and deep bass.
Very affordable, bought mine for $20.
Comes with a good case, airplane adapter, cable manager, clip, and a variety of buds.
Overall good build quality.Cons: Only one con: The bendable around-ear cable is weak and can't stand very much adjustment. The metal inside the cable may break if bent too much.
Summary: These are very good headphones for the price. Their sound quality is incredible. I have used Bose In-ear headphones and Sony EX300sl headphones. Both were much more expensive and only ...
Summary: These are very good headphones for the price. Their sound quality is incredible. I have used Bose In-ear headphones and Sony EX300sl headphones. Both were much more expensive and only the Bose headphones were comparable in sound quality.
Meelectronics customer service is just as impressive as their headphones. After using them about a month, the metal cable used to fit around the ears broke, since it cannot stand much bending. However, I sent them in to be repaired by Meelectronics, and they sent me a new pair in less than a week. Moreover, their customer service reps were very helpful and polite.
