Summary: Overall, these aren't a bad set of tanks for the money, particularly if you're able to get them in that magical "on sale" $20-$30 price range. I certainly wouldn't pay MSRP for them, but typical selling prices on the web seems to make them a pretty good deal. I'd go so far to say that the sound quality is on par with my more expensive Sonys. Not up there with the Sennheisers or Boses, but certainly a good showing for a lower tier "general use" type headphone. What I don't like about them is that the general physical construction is very cheap- almost toy-like. The extension arms are particularly bad, being of very low quality polymer and too flexible. The vertical movement of the ear pieces is limited. I don't know if it's just my big pumpkin head or an element of the design, but for an over-ear phone, these don't do a particularly good job of "sealing" themselves over the ear.
With that said, the sound *IS* really good, and at the price point, you can't complain too much. I can't say anything about durability as I've only owned mine for a short time, but given the construction, it is a concern. Still, for performance, I'd say these tanks are a bargain. Worth buying if you aren't going to ride them too hard or subject them to harsh abuse (DJ Booth, studio monitors, etc)
