Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120-D (Orange) price range: $4.03 - $63.10

The good: The Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120 Earbud Headphones are really inexpensive and sound decent for their measly price. They also offer a comfortable fit.
The bad: The thin cord has a tendency to tangle easily (especially if you stick the headphones in a pocket). They don't seem incredibly durable, and there's no integrated microphone for cell phone calls.
The bottom line: For under $10, you'll be hard-pressed to find in-ear headphones that sound better and are more comfortable than the Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120s.

One of the best earphones ever.
by eddythepineapple on February 19, 2013
Pros: -simplicity, just pure bliss.
-fits in ear like no other earphone I've used
-fricking light weight! sometimes when im not listening to music, I barely even notice its in my ear!
-so many colors, it's just good.
-bought mine for $10. a steal
buy it.Cons: -BIGGEST CON: the wire gets hard in the cold up here in canada and is
easily tangible. The wire is never straight and always has little waves or ruptures.
-feels a bit cheap, but for me, simplicity and reliance overcomes these consSummary: good buy. nothing to lose at less than $10 on ebay or amazon.

ALSO, FOR ME, this beats the klipsch image s4. just because the klipschs' eartips don't stay in your ears as well as these.
though the klipschs' sound quality is overall higher, I would recommend these just because the fit is a little off. the image s4's earbuds are a bit heavier and are WAY easier to fall out of my ears compared to these. I use size medium tips on both. -
Surprisingly solid sound for ten bucks!
by SometimeStudiousNerd on February 11, 2013
Pros: cheap as hell, better than bearable sound, rather comfortable
Cons: kinda muddy and indistinct midrange sound - but phenomenal at this price

Summary: If you have a good earphone and wants to use this as a backup when the good one breaks. You can buy a one just for fun. But using it as a primary device to listen to music, I'm not recommending it as it does not provide a good enough sound quality for enjoyment.

An amazing audio quality for an earphone this cheap!
by hawkeye060898 on July 31, 2012
Pros: 1. Very good audio quality
For an earphone this cheap, Ergofit provides an excellent a very good bass and so-so for others.
2. Very cheap
Obviously
3. Wide variety of color
If you have an ipod nano, you can choose from wide variety of color.Cons: 1. Tangled lines
The line will often tangle because it is too thin, and might be a bit annoying for some.
2. Noise
There are not much of background noise, but when you connect it to a device, it might have the "zzz" sound. Still, not much :)Summary: I had a Bose IE2, which costs $99, but one half of the Bose broke, so I had to replace it with a new one that I can throw around ...
Summary: I had a Bose IE2, which costs $99, but one half of the Bose broke, so I had to replace it with a new one that I can throw around without too much concern. Obviously, the sound quality of Bose IE2 was better, the sound quality of Ergofit actually did not bother me (I actually felt it was kind of similar to Bose), even though I used Bose for about a year.
Neither the tangled line nor the noise personally bother me, so I would definitely recommend Panasonic Ergofit HJE120 to everyone who want to buy an everyday earphone for few bucks that you can throw around and not worry about it breaking. It is under $10, but I would still say it is still the best earphone that you can get under $30, or even $50! -

Summary: I had the luck of finding these at my local Ross for $4.99. I wanted a throw around pair that I could use to work out and clean outside with. I had absolutely low expectations, and figured the pair would break with in a few days. I was wrong. The earbuds have lasted me a couple months now, with very hard wear and tear from me. Sweat, fall damage, tangled cord, and they still sound great, just like the first day I got them. As far as the EQ goes, there is a boost in hi-mids which is somewhat counteracted by the silicone in-ear bud, which creates a nice natural low end. Unfortunately if you're looking for something really bass heavy with a lot of thump, these headphones fall short. For Metalcore, Indie rock, acoustic, and music with less bass attention these are great! Overall, the Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120-D, are the BEST headphones, under $10(sometimes under $5!).
