Summary: I'm just gonna sum up the pros & cons all-together:
-Sound quality is amazing, not the best ever, but for the price l'm very satisfied.
-Headphones weight is really light.
-Headphones design is very dull, first of all the cushion doesn't cover the ear entirely, so it keeps pressing on the ear auricle & eventually it gets very uncomfortable, and if you are wearing eye glasses it gets really very painful.
-Cable length is enormous, so lt's not practical at all even if you are sitting most of the time, cause the cable clings over itself, and even when you rap it over itself it adds unnecessary weight.I know that it's intended for studio use, but l'm sure home users buying these headphones are 100 times more than DJs.
- Headphones built quality sucks, including the cable itself, it feels very cheap even for it's price, so i believe it might break any time soon.

Although less durable, they do have a nice clear tone.

Pros: good for listening to metal, can handle HD audio properly, interesting design and aesthetics.
Cons: sound isolation, comfortability, bass response, durability, cord design.

Summary: i have owned these headphones for about a year now, and they broke about a 6 months ago. The left ear piece keeps falling off the headband due to damage to the little rail that it rides on. Obviously a design failure, but i always have them in my backpack during classes at my high school. I have a lot of books in there and maybe that's why it busted. If i had a little case that came with it, then it probably would not have broken. The speakers blew out about 2 months ago, and i haven't used them since.
I paid 50 bucks for them, and they could have been better for their cost. You'd be better off buying the HD 428s from amazon.com for about $50 plus shipping.
The treble and midrange are excellent, and the bass is well defined. But the bass is not as responsive as other headphones in its price range. This makes it perfect for metal, rock, techno, acoustic, country, pop, punk, and other genres in that area. Not too great for rap though. They are High Def speakers, so that's a plus.
people say these cans have a good isolation, but i've heard better. They do block out some sound, but not anything loud.
All there is for comfort is ear pads, and a little headband pad. regardless, you'll be feeling the plastic.
The overall design is quite interesting. I've never really seen a headband that actually goes over the speakers like it does with the HD 203s. But it makes it uncomfortable if you're wearing them while sleeping on a pillow, especially if the weight of your head is on your ears.
the cord is way too long. it's like 10 feet. I can't really keep it from being really tangled up. It splits down the middle and goes into the two black speaker things. It doesn't detach. you would be better off chopping off like 7 feet of cord and soldering it back together.
Overall, these cans are a nice pick if you're not an audiophile, if you want more bang for your buck, choose the HD 428.
