  Extremly uncomfortable. Mediocre sound.

  Cons: After 5 minutes of testing I had to stop using those headphones as they are extremely uncomfortable.

  Summary: Absolutely do not buy. Sennheiser HD205 feels like Chinese water torture - after few minutes, it is not big deal at all, but such discomfort becomes true torture after 20-30 minutes. Those headphones are designed to clamp around your head with significant force for few reasons: claim to have great sound isolation, and good sound overall. Well, let me demonstrate how they managed both of those. Buy any mediocre headphones with poor isolation and not very great sound. Now, push those headphones as hard as you can against your ears, and you will see noticeable "improvement". Suddenly you can hear much more bass, and the rest of frequencies somehow become more vivid! But, it hurts after few moments. Sennheiser used this idea for their design concept. Not only that, they wanted to make sure your ears will be fully compressed, so they created oval shape which instead of hugging the ear around, it actually pushes against the cartilage. Perfect torture device if you ask me.

  uncomfortable at all

  Pros: sound quality is good

  Cons: uncomfortable u can only use it for 10 min the ur ears starts to hurt

  Great Value for the Cost-Aware DJ or Home-Listener

  Pros: - Great Fidelity
  - Phenomenal Bass Output
  - Above-Average Sound-Canceling
  - >GREAT VALUE<

  Cons: - Does NOT pass the aggressive usage test (I quite literally went through 2 pairs in 6 months)
  - Long chord makes for awkward and irksome listening at times (if you try to listen on-the-go you will HAVE to bind the chord [which doesn't end well])

  Summary: These are glorious headphones. I myself am an avid music listener (4-8+ hours on a daily basis) of genres from Hardstyle Techno to Melodic Death Metal, and from the "Pop Top 100" to Orchestral Movie Soundtrack songs. These headphones handle them all and do so with a flair that is worth well over $70. They are one of the few headphones I've found that can truly do justice to the raw earth-shaking bass lines of Hardstyle, but also handle the delicate and refined violin pieces off of the Lord of the Rings Soundtrack. Additionally, they produce sound canceling well beyond most headphones in their price range. I swim competitively, and believe me, the ruckus that occurs on the bus to practice can be likened to nothing short of a war zone. These headphones silenced it all.
  
  Unfortunately however, these headphones are not all upside. They are in all respects a DJ or Home listening headphone. Any attempt to listen to these headphones while mobile will result in a "Death-Match" with the astonishingly irritating 3-meter cable. In my attempts to use these headphones as a semi-mobile headphone (using them with my Ipod, etc.) I was forced to bind the chord (wind it up and bind it with twist ties). After shortening the chord, the bindings stressed the internal wirings of the cable and ultimately frayed them, totaling the headphones. The same process repeated itself when I replaced my original set with another pair.
  
  So, in finality, these are great headphones. If you are a DJ or an audiophile who is looking for a high-fidelity cost-effective headphone, look no further. However, If you think you're more the type to want to use them as a more universal multi-purpose headphone my suggestion is: look elsewhere. These are great home-listening headphones and are well worth the investment but, they will not survive usage beyond a stage or a computer desk.
  
  I give them a 4/5 for the "normal" casual listener,
  I give them a 5/5 for the cost-aware/aspiring DJ or the (only) at-home listener.
