Feeling free with sports
by ferrya on January 15, 2007
Pros: shaking the head the music won't get away
Cons: sure there will be one but I have no idea yet
Summary: Took a very long time to decide but I made the job for you.

A headphone for sports fanatics is a must with a neckband. You can run, jump, shake, turnover the music is still there.
Please don't use In-ear things. When you sweat these things fall out and after one hour they sit very uncomfotable while the music start "pressing" inside the ear. Your ear needs air.
But most important as you do sports. You need a little contact with the sounds around you. So in my case I choose the PMX70 and I can tell you after a weekend full of sports. This device is a must have.
People who speaks about some little noise while sporting. Helloooo your sporting. Music will push you a little bit higher but you need contact otherwise you never hear a train, car, dumbell or nice person who like to talk to you. You can pump up the volume. I can tell you you won't hear anything from the outside world.
Buy a neckband headphone (PMX70 is my choice) you won't be sorry for that if you need extra motivation .3 out of 3 users found this user opinion helpful.

They would be awsome with a few corrections
by Stoutboy1 on March 19, 2007
Pros: The sound is pretty good for a sport headphone
Cons: lots of pressure on the ears, and the wires are to small so there is a lot of static after a few days

Summary: The wire is real small, and only a few days after using them I started to get a lot of static. I researched it on a few retail websites and a lot of customers were having the same problem. I would not buy these again.
They are a one size fits all deal. My head is not huge but the pressure really startes to hurt after about 20 minutes. I have to take them off if I ware them for more then 45 minutes.
If you have a smaller head and the wireing issue dosent happen with your pair then they would be great headphones unfotunantly I had a problem and that is why I gave it a 3 if it had only happend to me I would have rated them higher, but after doing a little research its not an isolated case. That said you should think about it before you make the purchase.2 out of 2 users found this user opinion helpful.

"GREAT HEADPHONES"
by ibtheway on June 17, 2009
Pros: Clear great sound! Lightweight! Secure!
Cons: None - they're sports headphones
Summary: First purchased these headphones due to a store closing, 80% sale ? I wasn?t feeling the color, but the price was too right to resist.

I use them while out walk/running with my dog in the early morning. Therefore you want (1) the ability to get lost in your music and the Sennheiser PMX 70 Sport headphones deliver with awesome, clear sound - yet you still hear a little of your surroundings. (2) To be able to be notice by those driving by. Lime Green headphone stands out ? and serve their purpose. (3) Lightweight and secure
I recently needed and purposed my second pair of sport headphones. I "AGAIN" purchased the Lime Green Sennheiser PMX 70 Sport headphones. People they're great headphones.1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

Does not last.
by zenner79 on May 6, 2013
Pros: stays on ears
Cons: Total deterioration of the cord after two years and less than twenty uses. Never subjected to inclement weather or to extreme temperatures. The rubber housing surrounding the wire is just peeling away.
Summary: The most disturbing issue is the reaction I got from Sennheiser. They did not even want to see what has happen to their product after such little use. Absolutely no ...

Neck band too unflexible, broke in the first day
by Griffonu on June 23, 2011
Pros: Good sound
Cons: - uncomfortable
- the band broke after 1 day, while I was trying to move them around, so that they wouldn't be so uncomfortable. The plastic of the neckband simply doesn't have enough flexibility. -
Great fitting headphones, solid sound, short life span.
by Centerport_Dad on January 17, 2011
Pros: I usually am on the cardio machines in the gym, or running outside- ear buds have never been a good fit since they pop-out once I start sweating. These headphones are secure, comfortable and lightweight.
Cons: Unfortunately I've gone through 3 paris of these- same problem every time- the right ear goes silent- not sure if this is due to sweat or if the connections to the speaker are poor.
Summary: If you work out hard and sweat a lot- especially if you focus most of your workout on the cardio-side, these are an excellent choice. Ear buds never stayed-put...but ...
Summary: If you work out hard and sweat a lot- especially if you focus most of your workout on the cardio-side, these are an excellent choice. Ear buds never stayed-put...but these fit securely and comfortably. Beware though as I have never had a pair that lasted more then 6 months. Sennheiser should fix this issue!

Don't buy these headphone WILL fall apart
by charlie7602 on April 22, 2010
Pros: Good while they lasted.
Cons: Either the right or left headphone stops working after three months usage, the wire casing falls apart making them unusable. See here: http://sites.google.com/a/empower3w.com/3w/files/headphones.jpg

I have contacted Sennheiser "customer service" department on three occasions and they have never responded to my emails. Do NOT purchase. -
Very uncomfortable
by voltaic1 on December 31, 2009
Pros: Sound quality seems ok and they won't fall off your head (which isn't necessarily good).
Cons: They are tight and uncomfortable. They should have made these with some sort of adjustment. The pmx 70 ear buds are too big and that adds to the discomfort. An inline volume control would also be useful.
Summary: The fit is very disappointing. I have worn Koss p9s without issue, but they are cheaply made and break quickly. This is my last set of pmx 70s.

For the price give it a try
by Robmiezer on October 8, 2009
Pros: Good sound, Great fit, Best value on active headphones
Cons: Green...Some hate, I like. There are better sounding headphones on the market, but they kill stock buds.
Summary: These are pretty much identicle to the PMX 80 but have a price tag of $19.99. You cannot beat these at this price, better sound than stock buds that ...
Summary: These are pretty much identicle to the PMX 80 but have a price tag of $19.99. You cannot beat these at this price, better sound than stock buds that come with devices and great for working out. They hold tight and sound good. There is some external sound, but they are not sound cancelling headphones and you want some sound if you are outdoors running or biking. Hands down these are the BEST deal right now on active headphones.

Best in class in audio, design, and durability.
by konradjohn on May 4, 2009
Pros: I have had a pair of Sennheiser PMX 70 Sport headphones for two years now and I have had no problems with them what so ever. They hold firm to my ears, are lightweight, sound great, and come in vibrant green and orange colors.
Cons: I believe they could be a bit more comfortable with some gel like ear inserts that are softer on the ear. Also they might take some adjustment to find that "sweet spot" in your ear.
Summary: After testing many different styles of headphones and earbuds I have settled on the Sennheiser PMX 70 Sport headphones. I can affirm that they won't fall out of your ...
Summary: After testing many different styles of headphones and earbuds I have settled on the Sennheiser PMX 70 Sport headphones. I can affirm that they won't fall out of your ears like earbuds and at the same time don't have to cover your whole ear. They are light and tend not to hurt your eardrum if properly positioned right. They sound great with a surprisingly deep bass. Overall I believe Sennheiser has found the middle ground between over the ear headphones and earbuds. I will definitely recommend this set of headphones to my family and friends.
