Summary: Several reviews recommend the px100 above the px200. I tried both and the first one has more bass level but worse high and midtones. The px200 sounds awesome if your player is quite good. I got an old minidisc and I'm sure they would sound even better with an i-pod, iriver or rio.
Don't hesitate to buy them. You won't regret at all.5 out of 5 users found this user opinion helpful.

Summary: I already owned some Shure E4 in ear phones. They have fabulous sound but I decided I had to get rid of them after I became worried about damaging my hearing.
I went for these as I needed something to seal the sound in and not disturb my fellow commuters, without plugging anything deep into my ear..
For £30 I am well satisfied. They are lacking in a little bit of detail comapred to the Shures but that is obviously to be expected.
Bass response is excellent and I actually prefer the sound of these on some kinds of music. I have heard they can be difficualt to drive. All I can say is my iAudio player has no problems at all.
They are very light and comfortable and fold up neatly into my jeans pocket. They give some sound isolation and also seal a lot of the music in allowing me to crank it up to decent volumes on the train.
Very happy.Updated
I was a bit hasty in my original rating. I'd probably give them a 7 or 8, with the AKGs a point higher.
They are good, but the AKG-26Ps sound better (especially on bass) and are not much bigger. I would go for those instead.3 out of 3 users found this user opinion helpful.

Fun, involving headphone
by ZiggoES on August 21, 2005
Pros: Sound, Case, Foldable, size, and design
Cons: Supra Aural Pain, Tricky positoning

Summary: The PX200 were my first intro into the world of Sennheiser, and I say I made a good choice. These are fun headphones for all portable devices, CD players, PSP's, and MP3 Players.
Design Wise, Sennheiser hit the nail on portable head with a foldable design into a hard case which will protect your $60 dollar investment. Also the black and silver scheme just looks to cool to pass up, you can get it in white too for ipods.
Also it's different from it's brother, the PX100 as it offers a closed design with 5dB of attenuation.
Sound Wise, the headphone really fills the spectrum of sound, the bass is tight and punchy which fills my taste for classic rock and metal. Midrange is sweet on this headphone, it brings out vocals amazingly for it's small size, as for highs, they are not as articulate as IEMs, but are enjoyable and non-Fatiguing.
Comfort is pretty ok, except since this is a supra-aural headphone, meaning it sits on your ear, it can get uncomfortable for a while, and also to position it for full bass potentional, can get a little tricky, but once they're on, you'll enjoy it.
I recommend these headphones if you wish to have a bit of privacy, and enjoy a fun sound signature in a portable solution.
Hope this Helps.3 out of 3 users found this user opinion helpful.

Looking for portable headphones? PX-200 IS THE ONE TO GET!
Pros: The sound quality of these headphones is very good in high and midrange. Base is strong too compared to other compact portable phones. They're very comfortable to wear, and do a very good job at filtering outside noises. Also these headphones are foldable

Big Bass & Excellent Portability....
by FunGuy313 on September 16, 2006

Summary: I was looking for an over the ear headphone to replace my 10 yr old Panasonic ones. I loved my Panasonic because it worked very well over the years with my portable CD player, laptop and transferred very well to my various MP3 players giving very excellent bass. I reviewed all the buyers comments here and did some research before purchasing the PX200 and it was an excellent purchase for the value and performance. I have seen it priced anywhere from $32 to over $100 but I ended up buying it from Amazon for under $36 incl. no shipping and sales tax. The bass is amazing along with its lightweight. I take the train in to work and liked the close-end feature so that when I do turn up the volume it would not affect my fellow commuter next to me. The only really "negative" aspect of the headphones is the collapsible feature in that it can be cumbersome at times to fold up. However, there are small numeric symbols imprinted on the headphones that tell you which side to fold first in order to get it to fit into its case properly. This is my 1st Sennheiser purchase and I will definitely keep them in mind whenever I am looking for that next pair of headphones. I would definitely recommend that you get this if portabilty & big bass is what you are looking for.

Summary: Great earphones, I've destroyed many a lesser constituted pair and these have stood up to every abuse I've inflicted! Great sound quality, very comfortable to wear, they very effectively block out unwanted noise. I wear them when I work out and for most activities stay snugly in place. My only wish is that there were optional waterproof or rubberized cushions, cause they can get a little soggy with sweat, but other than that, perfect! Highly Recommended.

Very good set of haedphones
by the_crew on November 17, 2005
Pros: Portable, great closed ear phones, nice sound with good bottom end
Cons: The only thing that I have a problem is that I have a big head and this don't sit good over the top, so I just rotate it to the back of my head. Problem solved.

Summary: I love these for a couple of reasons. I love how you can flod these and put in the SUPPLIED case and toss in your bag/backpack and not have to worry if they are going to break. I love the closed ear design, I can have these turned up loud and no one around me will notice, until I take them off. The sound is another thing, these are my first purchase of a Sennheiser product, they are great and how some boom for not being a can headphone. Overall great purchase and will recommend to others for a true portable headphone

Aural Pleasure :)
by danieru on June 11, 2005
Pros: Clear separation of top and midtones, hard carry case, closed aural headphones as good as its heavyweight cousins, foldable
Cons: Wires tangle easily if you do not carry it in the hard case.

Summary: I read about the poor bass boost for this pair, however I think its dependable on the type of player you have. If you use this on a mediocre player without internal EQ functions, you might be disappointed. You should look at Senn's HD series if you are serious about heavy bass. This pair gave me clear and crisp sound with discernable aural placements (it almost makes music 3D). Acoustics, live concerts, instrumentals do extremely well with this pair. Its noise-reduction doesn't filter outdoor traffic very well (but its terrific indoors), perhaps its more for preventing others from knowing you are a secret britney spears fan...

You won't believe how light they are!
Pros: + The sound is excellent for rock, jazz or classical music! Clean, defined and ambient sounding. + The weight... or rather: their lightness: 2.1 oz !! (~60 grams) + Foldable, with an easy design + Value for money!
Cons: - Not much to write here... they're so good!

Great Closed Portable Headphones
Pros: Compact case is very good looking and portable. Headphone is comfortable and provides enough isolation. Highs and mids are good.
Cons: Could sound a bit dark, therefore lacks soundstage. Not a lot of detail in its sound but great sound for its price.
