Summary: After several years of dealing with the iPod headphones, I finally decided to try and get something that fits, has decent sound, doesn't fall off when I run, and doesn't cost as much as Bang and Olufsen. I found them. The first thing I did with these is bring them to the gym, where I ran on a treadmill, did boxing, and wall climbing. They never so much as budged. Not only that, but because the bud itself is inside of the ear, the sound is very well represented, from deep bass all the way to bright treble.
I should warn you, if you don't like headphones in your ear, this probably isn't for you. If you don't like headphones hugging your ears, this probably isn't for you. If you want noise canceling, this clearly isn't for you. Otherwise? I can't imagine a better option.

Excellent while they lasted, but wore out too quickly.
by Manthatyoufear on December 27, 2009
Pros: Excellent value for the money. Some say they had trouble getting a secure fit, but I found the fit to be perfect despite usually having a hard time in that department. Convenient clip keeps the cord out of the way.
Cons: Sound quality is average at best, but my main complaint is the lifespan. I usually get a good year out of my buds, but these quit working well after only about four months..
Summary: Good value for the money, I only wish they would have lasted longer. The sound quality is passable, but the fit is excellent! These are a good choice for the ...

Summary: Good value for the money, I only wish they would have lasted longer. The sound quality is passable, but the fit is excellent! These are a good choice for the user that wants a better fit for the gym, but isn't overly concerned with high quality sound.
One important cautionary detail: These buds block out most outside noise. That's great if you like block out distractions in the gym, but the user must be careful with them if they want to use them jogging. You cannot hear much of anything but your music while using them.

Terrible earphones
by nodamnname on December 15, 2008
Pros: The sound quality is decent.
Cons: Poorly made jack looses inside contact with my ipod (and speakers and phone) causing music to cut out constantly. The fit is not great on ears either, stated for active wear, but they barely stay on when running.
Summary: They are cheap, so you get what you pay for, but I would avoid these if you are going to use them for any sort of "active" use.
