The good: Street Style behind-the-neck design; thickly padded ear cushions; noise cancellation; folds up for compact storage.
The bad: Minimally effective noise-canceling system; cable length may be troublesome for many users.
The bottom line: With its weak sound and minimal noise cancellation, the Sony MDR-G94NC is all style and no substance.

Looks cool but thats about it
by ericthai on June 6, 2007
Pros: Good looks, no battery unit to carry around like the other noise canceling headsets, non-tangle cord
Cons: Painful to wear, minimal noise cancellation, weak wimpy sound

Summary: Stay away! i got them onsale about a while ago for $45, but procrastinated too long and the return period had came and went! These are really painful to wear but u get used to them after an hour or so, but still rather uncomfortable. The noise cancellation is very minimum, mediocre at best. The sound quality is very bad, at full blast the sound is still very mousey, not good at all for portable mp3 players at all perhaps they were designed for the in house 500W receivers? The good part about this headset is that it dont have a separate battery pod unit that most noise canceling sets do. The battery fits right into the right ear piece nicely. The non-tangle cord is also a very nice thing to have. Unfortunately thats abt all the Pros for this headset!

Kinda Cool Looking... That's it
by Nrbelex on March 8, 2005
Pros: Cool looking, fabric cord, gold plugs
Cons: Horrible noise-cancellation, too much pressure on ears
Summary: I heard no major problems with the sound itself but then again it may have been hard to tell since the noise-cancelling was so horrible. Still a cool looking set ...

They are good!!!
Pros: They do cancell noise effectively for the areas I use them. LIke the person above I am a student and use them commuting and in studying situations and they do cancell the nosie to an extent that it isn't noticeable. Also before I had the funopia headphones
Cons: Sound quality. going from the funopia to these is a huge step down the bass and pickup are average to say the least!!!!!!

great noise cancellation for aeroplanes
Pros: These headphones were bought for casual use but I was going oversease so i thought that i would try out the noise cancelling on an aeroplane. These are really good for planes, the low frequency loud turbofans are reduced to a thin wisp when WORN PROPERLY
Cons: the mid range bass could provide a little more punch, volume can tend to be softer than others but maybe because was using a low output mp3 player

Not as bad as ^these guys say...
Pros: comfortable! These headphones are comfy. Stuart, the reviewer above, states that these headphones are actually horizontal. yes. but the neckband is flexible, allowing it to conform to any size head. maybe that guy has a big head. (literraly) and the earph
Cons: you think it's price right? nope. don't buy them for retail! ($70) save your money and shop online. i got these for 50 shipped. but then, noise canceling headphones are a little more expensive than normal. next, the actual noise canceling. im sure there a

Riduculously Uncomfortable: Cannot Wear Longer Than Five Minutes!
Pros: Fun, but not very helpful or strong noise-cancelling circuitry; Sexy look; Behind-the-neck structure; Wire unsusceptible to tangling, supposedly (I would deal with plenty tangles if the rest of a headphone was good)
Cons: A little overpriced; Earpieces larger than what they seemed from online photos; Somewhat muffled sound; Heavy and UNCOMFORTABLE: Completely unbearable pressure on ears, to the point that I could not wear them comfortably for five minutes. These 'phones h
