Definitely better products available.
by bmbutler07 on April 23, 2011
Pros: -Sound quality is decent but far from satisfactory.
-Good looking design.
-Very comfortable.
Cons: -Noise isolation is probably why you'd buy these, and it's hardly noticeable.
-Flimsy construction.
-Sound response is deep biased, without solid bass response.
-Way overpriced, worth about $50.
Summary: Headphones are clearly geared towards a deeper sound but wouldn't go as far to say that the bass is good. I have listened to the Bose AE2's and ...

Summary: Headphones are clearly geared towards a deeper sound but wouldn't go as far to say that the bass is good. I have listened to the Bose AE2's and they sound much better with a flatter response. As far as the active noise cancellation goes, they are not worth what you pay. My Klipsch S4's isolate the noise much better and have twice the sound quality. That being said, the overall sound quality on the Sony's aren't all that bad but thats all you get are decent headphones, poor build quality, and barely noticeable noise cancellation.

Summary: I've tried the top of the line NC earbuds. The $325 Shure's that I bought don't even come close to touching my $100 Sonys. Great, rich sound. Excellent bass. Good noise cancellation. Very comfortable. Nice, small power supply. I can't say enough good about this very economical headphone. These things will blow the $hit out of your a$$.

Absolutely brilliant set of cans for the price!
by Shaveage91 on March 11, 2012
Pros: Noise cancelling is top notch and at the price I picked them up blows anything I've owned to date out of the game and then some.
Cons: It sounds bad without power. Although, I question anyone's sanity when they have bought a pair of noise cancelling phones and want to turn the feature off.
Summary: When I was reading the reviews for this, I was hesitant but I got my hands on a pair I was sorry I read the reviews. Even if I had ...

Summary: When I was reading the reviews for this, I was hesitant but I got my hands on a pair I was sorry I read the reviews. Even if I had paid RRP I can't fault it.
Do you work in a data centre? Are you a student who wants to work in the library but constantly distracted by the noise?
If you said yes to either, don't even question it, you want(need) a pair!
All in all its one of the best pair of headphones I have ever used and definitely worth the money! I had to create a Cnet account to come write a review about it because it deserved it. If your looking at them and are on the fence about it, trust me when I say its worth it.

Decent, but audio is awful when NC is off
by Ffanatic on September 16, 2011
Pros: Compact, comfortable, lightweight. Good commercial sound quality when NC is enabled.
Cons: HORRIBLE audio quality when NC is off - makes them unusable if your battery dies.
Summary: I won these in a raffle which I supposed colors my review. To be honest, if I had the chance to try them out before buying them, I wouldn't ...

Summary: I won these in a raffle which I supposed colors my review. To be honest, if I had the chance to try them out before buying them, I wouldn't spend the money on these. The sound quality when NC is disabled is so bad that they're basically unusable.

Not worth the $129 in canada. but are very comfortable.
by tarfeef101 on July 7, 2011
Pros: Earpads are very comfy, can wear for hours.
Lightweight, little pressure on ears.
Cons: Audio quality not what you would expect for the price
Noise cancellation very average, can still hear too much ambient noise
Summary: These are good if you're looking for portability and comfort, but not for good noise cancellation or audio quality.

Summary: The sound is pretty decent with noise cancelling on, but once the battery dies or cancelling is turned out, the quality dramatically drops without noise cancelling. The headphone are also mildly sturdy (I assume) because mine never had problems, but i was always afraid the flimsiness would rear it's ugly head one day. Outside of that, for normal recreational use, and if you aren't to big on non-noise cancelled sound, then these are definitely a good buy

Barely worth even $65
by Reprotected on December 30, 2010
Pros: Quality is alright with noise cancelling, but it isn't really that good.
Cons: You might as well just be blasting music rather than using the noise cancelling though since it barely works. Quality sucks a lot without noise cancelling. Doesn't look durable. It has two wires to the headcuffs which scares me.
Summary: I got mines for $65, and even with the sale going on, I don't find it worth it. I just hope this thing can last since it doesn't ...

Summary: I got mines for $65, and even with the sale going on, I don't find it worth it. I just hope this thing can last since it doesn't even look durable. I recommend the S2m from Klipsch. $30, same quality (or even better), better noise isolation, no batteries, has a mic and a track changer, and it awesome for the price.

Summary: I use this to block out the noise from a fan and there is a constant hissing noise created when I wear these. Its not from the noise canceling though cause I hear it when its not even on or plugged in. It has something to do with the shape or something.
If it werent for the hissing I would like them. They sound good.

great for planes, worth much more than the price
by mrbouncer3 on March 30, 2009
Pros: good sound but not the greatest bass in the world; battery life outstanding; small, easy to carry; comfortable if you don't wear glasses; noise canceling amazing on planes, great quality (no probs so far)
Cons: after a while, they begin to hurt the top of your ear if you wear glasses, i think its just on-ear headphones in general though; not the crispest sound, but great for the price
