Sound is OK, but would not buy again
by joebdressler on June 24, 2010
Pros: Comfortable to wear, fairly good sound and range
Cons: Sound cuts out and only returns if you unplug and replug the power plug at the base. I exchanged it for a new set and the same thing happens - just not as frequently

Summary: I am not a "techie" so there will be no discussion of gigahertz-whatevers or sound distortion graphs here. I WILL state that this product is NOT for audiophiles that require perfect tone and zero distortion. Those that require that much fidelity in their sound should get a pair of wireless headphose that cost $300 or more.
I paid about $75 for this pair and am still patting myself on the back for my savvy purchase!
As an AVERAGE user I find the sound quality of this product to be perfectly acceptable. A SLIGHT hiss can sometimes be heard, but no more than the speakers that came with your computer. Mainly I use the headphones on my computer for music and movies, but have also used them on my TV, cell phone, and MP3 player with great success.
As advertised, the included battery pack WILL last 14 hours on a full charge. I have owned these headphones for 3 months and have noticed no batter life loss as yet.
I am so thrilled to be able to get up and walk around the room witout interupting whatever I'm listening to. Not to mention the fact that there is no wire hanging over my arm/shoulder/neck/desk/keyboard.
I have read some poor reviews of this product and I think that if those reviewers would read and follow the included instructions, they would get much better performance from these headphones. For instance, if you turn your sound device volume to max and then turn the headphones to a comfortable level, the quality of sound is great. IF you like your music loud, these will work that way too.
Range is great. I walk all over the house with no distortion or interuption. I would estimate the "good quality" range to be 150 feet. I have used them on the patio outdoors with the base unit approximately 40 feet away with no problems.
I was apprehensive about wireless headphones before this purchase but I'm glad I chose this pair. I am completely satisfied and would recommend this product to anyone! (barring aforementioned audiophiles) :-D

Summary: Wow, these were a waste of money. I asked for these because I generally like Sony products. Sound over the headphones has an ongoing buzz that increases and decreases as I shift my head. The headphones are supposed to turn on when you put them on. In order to actually make it turn on, however, I have to unplug the power cord and then plug it back in. In addition, the power randomly turns off while I am watching, which requires me to get up and unplug the power cord and then plug it back in. I use them to watch TV when my wife is asleep upstairs, and I am on the couch a couple of feet from the TV. If I get up and move much further away, the buzz becomes so bad that I can?t hear the TV. And the headphones are big, bulky, and heavy, and make my ears sweat. Seriously, in this day and age, how hard could it be to make wireless headphone with iPod like headphones. Apparently, it is very hard. Got these as a gift and didn?t open the package for a couple of months; otherwise, these would have been returned immediately. Don?t buy these.

Would be ok sounding headphones if there was no hiss!
by asheppard1028 on October 29, 2008
Pros: They're wireless and they feature auto on and off.
Cons: The frequency signal from dock to headphones is absolutely terrible. There is a constant hiss during playback, that gets better or worse depending on the position of your head.
Summary: If you don't care about clear, uninterrupted sound, these headphones might be ok for you. Otherwise, STAY FAR AWAY!!

Summary: for $3 but with wire, you can buy better headphones, with better sound.
It's very difficult to listen a movie. Speaker sound is not good, but this is not the main problem. wifi and cell phone produce weird interering noise. And each movement of your face, or shoulder, will be traduce by a loud squeezing noise of the pastic parts moving together.
