Summary: The sound of these headphones is far better than one would expect from headphones in this price range. Solid bass, plenty of air in the midrange and detailed highs without sounding tinny. It doesn't require much power to get them blasting and they don't distort at high volume. I like the tangle free cord which is soft to the touch and is, for the most part, as tangle free as a cord is going to get, and, at around 5 feet long is a comfortable length. A thin pice of pliable plastic similar to that of wrap-around eye glasses hold them to your ears. They can be awkward to put on but once you have them situated they ride comfortably on your ears. They are quite lite and ergonomically are similar to other headphones made for portable devices but perform like full size, cup type phones but without that enclosed feeling. Good bang for the buck and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a good $20 pair of phones. The cost to performance ratio is excellent.

Great Product, worked perfectly over the last 4 years
by tysonflax on January 28, 2009
Pros: Inexpensive and durable. Sound is clear with little to no noise. Cable lies comfortably behind neck, ear clips are snug but not too tight using a spring to hold on tight.
Cons: After 4 years, the felt is finally starting rip, and so I'm looking for another pair. The clip can get quite uncomfortable after a few hours if your ears don't bend easily. Base is not impressive unless enhanced alot by the sound device.
Summary: It's definitely worth buying because of the cheep price, and I personally like the clip-on style much more than ear-buds or headphones with hard bands. Just go ahead and ...

Summary: I bought this for my MP3 player which I carry everywhere in my bag. The sounds is good but the cable is way too long and gets always tangled around the ear pieces. So every time I take it out of my bag, I have to untangle the knots which is very annoying. The cable is way too long that it gets caught in everything. Not good for portable users!

Not as good as some older models
by Gadgeteer1969 on December 31, 2005
Pros: Sound quality is better than most and they are comfortble to wear.
Cons: They don't sit as snug as some older models of similar design. This means the headphone isn't positioned nice and close to your ear canal.
Summary: This is a good inexpensive headphone as long as there isn't any background noise. Not good for jogging.

Pros: Good sound reproduction, decent bass, clear.
Cons: Treble is not as crisp as it could be, but for the price they do a great job.
Summary: For the price, these are a decent purchase for the general user!

Nothing's better at this price
by futbolpunk on November 18, 2005
Pros: Everything already mentioned, interchangeable ear covers, better base than most $50 headphones
Cons: (note that these are all very MINOR) my pairs have always seemed to tangle, while wearing, they stick out from the head a good bit
Summary: The only other thing to add is that while putting them on takes some getting used to, once you get the hang of it, it is very easy to do....

I recommend these highly and purchased 2 pairs for family members for Christmas of 2004. Both pairs still work flawlessly.
