Good all round headphones
by AshleyinBalt on August 13, 2008
Pros: - Fit is good.

- Thick wire.
- Low profile in ear.
- Stay in ear when exercising.Cons: - Hard to tell L from R because the lable is extreamly small.

Summary: The sound quality is good but I haven't noticed a significant difference over other headphones. Some of the other pluses of these headphones push them ahead of others that I've tried. Some thought has been put into these, you can tell. They are put together with quality parts, the case is aluminum so they are strong and light. The cables are thicker than other in-ear headphones I've owned. To me that's a nice touch. Thin wires make noise when you touch them. These make no noise.
The sound isolation is very good. Whether I'm at the gym (where they play their own music) or on my motorcycle the sound isolation is the best I've had. Because of the sound isolation they sound better than other headphones but in quiet places I don't hear a significant sound improvement. The sound is good all around. Good base but not too much.
The fit is also very good. I disagree with the CNET review on this. I have small ears and have had trouble getting other in-ear headphones to fit. I used the smallest size and they fit pretty well. They don't come out easily which is nice. I've worn them for extended periods and there is no discomfort. The rubber is soft and they come with about four sizes.
I bought them online. If you shop around you can get them a lot cheaper than listed in the review. I still think they are a little expensive. No major complaints. I would recommend these especially if you are into sports or motorcycles.3 out of 4 users found this user opinion helpful.

Good sound, but fragile
by Onerimeuse on March 31, 2009
Pros: Great sound. The best bet is to pick up some comply in ear covers, because they will addapt to various ear shapes.
Cons: Fragile. I had mine roughly 48 hours before the part if the wire connecting to the headphone jack became dislodged through basic day to day use.

Summary: UE manages to make the best sounding headphones I've ever allowed myself to buy. I had a set of UE 3s a few years back, and loved them until I lost them. It's a shame the same love and commitment to desiging a truly quality product didn't translate into this model. This being said, there's always the possibility I have a lemon.

Great headphones but not durable enough for me.
by TPSGoalieKing on September 20, 2011
Pros: Great sound quality, Great bass response although not booming enough for some hip-hop and rap in my opinion, the Mid's and High's are very, Very crisp and clear and you will hear notes you have never heard before even in your most popular songs.
Cons: Cable was too short (barely reached my pocket), cable was to thin, all in all the cable was not up to par with the construction level of the headphones themselves.
Summary: These headphones are very good sound quality for the price. And keep in mind I used these headphones a lot, but they broke after only two weeks, of course like ...
Summary: These headphones are very good sound quality for the price. And keep in mind I used these headphones a lot, but they broke after only two weeks, of course like I said keep in mind that I used them a lot (about 6 hours a day), but I had expected them to last longer than this. my last pair lasted for much much more time than these ones. All in all if you do not use these headphones a lot or take really good care of them they may be a good choice. I used them at the gym and at work and when jogging around and they did not last long. So if you only use these occasionally or only use them at home just to listen to music every once in a while when you are reading these May be a good choice for you. But for the way and amount I use these they just were not durable for me.

Worst headphones I ever got
by awesomesandwich on July 23, 2011
Pros: The design looks good
Cons: Absolutely no bass

Summary: When I read reviews about the small amount of bass, I didn't really object to it. I have owned headphones in the past that were boosting the bass so much that it ruined the music. However, I discovered that it could be the opposite as well: so little bass that everything sounds badly mastered.
About the quality: I went through three pairs in 9 months: one of the headphones just stopped working and the wires fell apart. I handled the headphones very carefully and they still broke repeatedly. The materials are very cheap and the wire joints break very easily.
Those are seriously the worst I ever bought, I have never had that many problems with headphones. -

Solid sound yet fragile construction of earphone jack.
by shoxwave on October 23, 2010
Pros: Clean and deep sound and good audio quality whenever playing music whether on the go, on my ipod or chilling in my room. I have even been highly impressed with it's sound quality when I tested it out on a busy train!
Cons: The fragile construction of the earphone jack alas didn't last me more than two weeks to which one side (the right ear) was working and the other not. Heavier and solid construction would be much appreciated!
Summary: Overall, all in all, there are better in-ear earphones on the market, this is not recommended.

Great, clear sound - stylish enclosure
by bravoghost on August 28, 2010
Pros: Crisp, clear sound. Drool-worthy design.
Cons: Decent, but not fantastic noise isolation. Large aperture that might press on listeners' ear canals. Non-existent bass.
Summary: If you aren't searching for a bass thumper, and like to have a little ambient noise in your noise-isolating headphones, then these would be for you.

Great sound/poor fit(even with different adapters)
by bluesplayer1234 on May 21, 2010
Pros: Sound is great, volume is wonderful, the active noise cancellation works well
Cons: For me, even the small ear bud adapters were a bit tight in my ears, the foam adapters were MUCH more comfortable but they only included 2 pairs (They have a website where you can order more...didn't really like that though)
Summary: Overall these ear buds are the best I've used and I've tried everything from AKG to Sony. They don't quite match the sound quality or comfort of ...

Great Overall Sound, Comfortable fit, Durable.
by burgsprinta on April 11, 2010
Pros: The sound quality of the mids and the highs is impeccable. The bass is crisp. Very accurate reproduction. Lightweight. The noise isolation is very good.
Cons: For some bass junkies, the bass may be a beat weak, though it is pretty solid.
Summary: These headphones offer an accurate reproduction of music, and the noise isolation leaves you immersed in the music. Also, the cable is very durable. Overall, a great set of earbuds.
