The good: The Bose Bluetooth Headset has a stylish design, a very comfortable fit, and multipoint connectivity.
The bad: The Bose Bluetooth Headset does not have A2DP streaming, and it only fits in the right ear. Call quality was average, which is disappointing considering the headset's high price.
The bottom line: The Bose Bluetooth Headset might be a stylish headset with a recognizable brand, but its lack of features and average performance do not fit its high price tag.

Tried them all and this is by far the best for me.
by jlakie on January 4, 2011
Pros: It's comfortable & sounds great. It's simple to use, easy to put on/in the ear and the on/off slider is basic. It connects quickly to the phone and disconnects just as fast. It's very easy to pick it up and turn it on to answer a call.
Cons: It's designed for the right ear only. It's cost is 1/3 higher than other popular headsets. You get what you pay for.

Summary: It's simple and works well. Easy to operate with the on/off slider, answer call button is easy to find and it's loud and clear. I like the fact that it pairs up with the phone almost instantly. It's fast enough that you can turn it on while your incoming call is ringing and answer the phone. This is nice when you need to charge it or just want to keep it charged up. It's comfortable to wear for very long periods of time. I was on a 45min. call today and I wasn't eager to get off the call to get it out of my ear. It's capable of managing a three-way call, muting, redialing of last call etc...
I will recommend this to anyone who is looking for a bluetooth headset. Hands down the best one I've ever had. -
My first Bluetooth headset.
by mdharrell on December 25, 2010
Pros: The sound quality is very good. It has been VERY comfortable in the ear, and I've enjoyed using it. There are plenty of features; it supports call waiting, linking to two phones at once, conf. calling, etc. It also picks up my voice very well.
Cons: Some obvious noise when the phone connects to the device, and the device kicks on to make a call. No A2DP.

Summary: Being my first headset I don't really have anything to compare it to but I would not hesitate to recommend this device. It is very comfortable and does what is expected, I'm also a Bose fan and, to me, this is another great product in their long-line of products.

Pros: I can hear people, people can hear me. Sounds simple right?! That's all I need a headset to do. This simply does it the best.
Cons: Will notice static and poorer performance in high blue tooth areas ie apple store, att wireless store etc

Summary: Call 4 different friends, while in my noisy work van on the interstate @ 70 mph. Blind tested with regular talking through my iphone 4 plain, the bose and a plantronics 975. The bose won every time. I never had a bluetooth that sounded better on both ends than the regular phone pickups.

Summary: I've had over 10 bluetooths so far ranging from 30.00 up to 200 and I must say I was skeptical at first to drop another 150 but I did and I must say its worth every penny. I let all of my friends try it out while driving and they too are impressed. Bose has done it again.

Very comfortable and very good sound quality
by applebrook on December 10, 2010
Pros: Very Comfortable , very good sound quality ,plays music via itunes on a macbook pro. easy controls very good looking peace of equipment
Cons: very expensive should be priced at $ 99.00 , ear specifc ( you can only use it on right ear) expect a european left year model to come out next year. does have a slight hiss or static distortion as all other blue tooth devices.
Summary: Being a Bose product warranty would be great as Bose does stand by all its products , very unique design as mentioned above very comfortable to wear

One Trick Pony in a Multitasking World
by s_d_gil on December 27, 2010
Pros: Advanced noise reduction. When the one you're talking to tells you you're clear as a bell when you're in an impossibly noisy environment, you know there's some serious digital whizbangery going on with this thing.
Cons: No left ear support. Unforgivable. Not everyone can use the right ear all the time.
No A2DP. Absolutely Unforgivable! A world of iPhone apps that use this codec establish it as a bare minimum performance specification. Fail.Summary: The Bose bluetooth does phone conversations well. Summary: The Bose bluetooth does phone conversations well. Unfortunately, that's all it can do. Most of us who can afford a $150 bluetooth are also sporting iPhones with multiples uses of bluetooth sound via A2DP, not just stereo music. The best mono headsets from BlueAnt and Plantronics support A2DP. I've used a Plantronics Voyager 855 for years now and have never listened to stereo music on it. Just podcasts, talk radio and iPhone nav software.
Certain iPhone apps do wireless voice, but their own prompts are transmitted via A2DP. So if you want to utilize your bluetooth headset to full effect with your iPhone, you'd best look elsewhere.
Bose is hopelessly behind the times with this.1 out of 3 users found this user opinion helpful.
