if you have the cash, it is amazing
by MaxxRonin on March 17, 2005
Pros: longer battery life, conforatble, easy to connect
Cons: sometimes, if the volume is up too high, the mic picks up what is coming through the headset. it sometimes picks up your breathing.

Summary: This was an amazing headset. It worked right away, i had no problem setting it up. and unless you play games 24 hours straight, the 7 hour battery life works just fine. it is a little pricy, but in my opinion one of the best out there. it is also light, and compact. the mic folds back to the headset and fits right in the palm of your hand. did i mention that after you put it on, you almost dont notice its there?

Summary: Yes i put the noise cancel feature as both a pro and a con. On the pro side you dont get all the background noise to bug other players. As a con if your playing Karaoke Revolution it doesnt pick up your voice very good forcing you to sing louder (or try to rather).
Another bad thing is that you can only use the headset on xbox. I would have been nice if logitech sold a 2.5mm phono style transmitter that you could use with a cell phone (for those of us that havent ventured into bluetooth capable phones yet).
Great headset none the less, would recommend if you have the cash, or you find it on clearance. I bought mine at Target for $25 on clearance.3 out of 3 users found this user opinion helpful.

Summary: I love this headset, I just bought Xbox 360 and im very upset that I can't use it on it. I cant wait for logitech to come out with one for 360. For all of you that say there is hissing, poping and static. First off it only happens when you are too far from the receiver, second. I have never had a problem and I have 2 TV's, a computer a full stereo system, Wireless Router ON TOP OF MY XBOX, and I've never had a problem. Logitech did an Excellent job with this product. 5 Stars, A+++++!

Summary: The headset has a good distance. I enjoy walking around the how to get a drink or let the dog out or what not in between games. I was moving my truck for my mom to get in the grage and I was in the neighbors driveway and still talking to them. It is a little pricy, but I enjoy the product a lot. I would suggest to anyone who plays online more than an hour a day. The battery life is about 6 hours per charge

A big step backwards for Logitech Quality
Pros: Wirless, not to big on the ear.
Cons: The freaking noise, buzz and popping kills the fun and usability of this product.... I used many logitech products, & have the wireless xbox controlers... This headset is a big disapointment... I exchanged it thinking it was broken, but sadly, thats h

Wireless? Yes. Usable Headset? No.
Pros: Comfortable, fits either right or left ear, compact, great battery life
Cons: Read any other review... somehow both Cnet and Gamespot received versions of this hardware that somehow did not pop and hiss at all. Or if it did, they decided it wasn't worth reporting to their readers. I'm curious if they have any wireless networks in t

NOT FOR WHINERS
Pros: The allure and convenience of wireless. A perfect match to the Precision controller. Even with few imperfections of the two, they are probably the best available for TRUE wireless with XBOX right now. If you are materialistic and frivolous like I am, B
Cons: There is very minimal white noise associated with RF interference. It isn't perfect but most wireless isn't! If you are anal, this isn't for you! The price is a bit high when compared to the same headset by Logitech for Bluetooth cell phones with a low

Summary: The reviews are very mixed on this product, this is my personal experience. After maybe half an hour of playing, the headset started to make crackling noises and static. This escelated until I couldn't even play, and all the other players complained about the noise it made. Thinking it just had to be charged, I let it charge OVERNIGHT. The next day, it gave me the same static and went out all together after under an hour- NOT EVEN CLOSE TO SIX. I was able to return it but I really expected better from Logitech. This product is definitely a risky buy.

Summary: I purchased this product from Compusa online because it looked pretty nice with a lot of features for a an okay price. They sent it to me and it wouldn't turn on. I called logitech and they confirmed it was defective. So I had to send it back and wait for another. Then when I got the next one it turned on, but I started charging it. It said in the manual an orange light would turn on when it was charging. I plugged it in and the orange light would come on for a second and then turn off when I let go. I tried rubber-banding the charger into place, holding it and a few other things. It ended up that I'd get about 45min of play, max, instead of the six hours it was said to last for. So I had to buy a different corded headset and get of the piece of junk. This headset was one of the worst purchases I have ever made. DO NOT BUY!!!
