Very comfortable fit, Clean, Smooth, Clear sound!!
by whatif22 on February 5, 2013
Pros: Durable, plenty of soft padding for head and ear comfort, great but not over powering bass coupled with the clarity works well for the variety of music I listen to. I use the multiple audio cables with my iPad and android phone.
Cons: The material used to cover the padding around the ears could have been something a little more heat resistant to support long use, but I used these on a 5 hour flight and didn't experience sweaty ears.

Summary: I took my music with me and listened to about 7 pair of headphones to include the wireless ones. They all were a little overpriced, but I got my Monster Inspirations for 25% off. These are big, but they are full size headphones and very comfortable for my head size, I found these to fit my budget and meet my listening needs; I also use an equalizer on phone to enhance my listening experience. Noise cancellation works great, used on several occasions when flying and the attendant has to physically tap my shoulder because I never hear the put away electronics announcements, also works well when home with a house full of girl daughters arguing (HaHaHa). Bottom line it's all about the buyer's budget and listening taste, so if you can take your music and try what's in your budget then do it. These are exceptional Full Size Headphones for all types of music!!!

Very comfortable, very smooth, natural sounding music.
by marty9071 on December 31, 2012
Pros: Very comfortable, very smooth, natural sounding music. It has 3 headphone cables,: 1 straight, and 1 control talk each for both Iphone & Android. The active noise cancellation is very effective, but i still hear all of the music.
Cons: The active noise cancellation doesn't automatically shut off. But the AAA batteries seem to last a long time.

Summary: If you buy the passive model you will be VERY satisfied, this would have received a 5 out of 5 but the price is a little bit on the steep side. Luckily I bought it on sale (150$). Bottom line is that they are great cans, sound quality is amazing, they are very comfy but a little too expensive on full price if you ask me. GET THEM

Overpriced and underperforming
by Sapiendut on September 12, 2012
Pros: Stylish, the most "natural sounding" headset from Monster
Cons: Generates lots of hiss when noise cancelling is turned on, sound quality is still very far from natural, useless when the battery die (can not be used as a passive headphone without the batteries installed.
Summary: Forget this unit, pay a tad more and get PSB M4U-2 noise cancelling headphone instead. Built like a tank, hardly any added hiss in active mode, can be used as ...
