Motorola FINITI Bluetooth Headset price range: $54.99

The good: The Motorola Finiti has "stealth mode," a bone conduction technology that completely blocks out environmental noise. It also has features like multipoint, A2DP streaming, voice controls, and compatibility with an Android app that reads out incoming text messages. Call quality is excellent.
The bad: The Motorola Finiti has a tiny multipurpose call button. The MotoSpeak app is currently only for Android and could be improved. Voices in stealth mode sound a little overly processed.
The bottom line: The Motorola Finiti is a definite improvement over its predecessor, with lots of high-end features and amazing audio quality.

What good is voice to text if Caller ID doesn't work?
by EvoFanBoy on December 11, 2010
Pros: Very clear on both sides of the conversation, fits well in ear
Cons: I bought this thinking it had Caller ID with my droid phone ...it does not. Very misleading packaging and User Manual lies. Can't believe Motorola would let this into the marketplace as such. Shameful.
Summary: Not worth the big $ if it doesn't have Caller ID Come on Motorola...FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great unit but buggy, needs firmware update.
by spetri on May 3, 2011
Pros: Light weight, comfortable and stays on ear. Excellent sounds clarity.
Cons: Unit locks up when turned off while BT connected to phone and cannot be used until plugged in for 5 or more seconds. Drops BT connection and re-connects for no discernible reason.
Summary: Easy to wear, sounds great, but frustrating to use because of buggy firmware.

I agree this is also the worst bluetooth I have bought!
by astodghill on March 9, 2011
Pros: The comfort of how it fits in my ear, my ears are small, and my ear canal is small and so it is a comfortable fit.
Cons: It constantly disconnects while calling or talking to someone else.
Summary: This makes me feel like never purchasing another Motorolla product and I've only had this since early January!

Worst Headset I ever used! Don't buy it
by Icefire8 on February 15, 2011
Pros: Great advertising
Cons: - Static up to the point I had to return it
- Locks up if I use the off button without making sure the phone is not on standby
- Drops connection all time
- Battery indication doesn't get updated on my phone

Summary: iPhone 3GS. I don't know how Motorola test their products, but it should have never gotten out the door. I don't know how these people are testing on the web, but read through several professional review including this one, and no one mentioned any of the problem. Did they just open the box and use it to make a call or two and give it a thumbs up? Did they get a pre-production that works better than the production?

On my third one don't hold up well.
by inrealdeep2 on July 30, 2012
Pros: Great fit sound and functionality. Love the voice caller id function.
Cons: I have returned three to Motorola. They just stop working and make a weird humming sound. Also, sometimes they disconnect for no apparent reason.
Summary: When it works it works great. Unfortunately, I went back to my old school Jawbone headset. Doesn't have all the features however it is dependable.

great headset/ annoying bugs. Overall rating a 4/5
by cdog2198 on April 24, 2012
Pros: great sound quality; no one knows I'm in the car. Top notch features for a headset in this price range. comfortable fit.
Cons: Headset disconnects for no apparent reason. Headset occasionally locks uo and need to charge for 5 seconds to restore functionality.
Summary: graded this headset by: comfort, style, functionality, battery life; 1-5 (five is the best) added all categories and then decided by 4.

Comfort i gave this baby a 5. One of only 2 headsets that can fit in my ear without an ear hook. sometimes i forget the headset is even in my ear.
Style- I gave this headset a 3. i like the way this headset looks in my ear but no one seems to notice it. Has a pretty cool look but not the best for me. The placement go most of the buttons are troublesome to reach. You can easily knoc to headset out of your ear when trying to answer a call and lower the volume. The voice activated answer is a must.
functionality- i gave this a 4. i have to say that the functionality is awesome in regards to the headets performance when it works(i'll get to that in a second). The bone technology really works. I've used this headset with 4 different phones(iPhone 4,4s, evo,htc titan) and get the same results; outstanding voice quality. Headset volume is also loud enough for me to hear in a crowded bar. Ihave been able to hold a conversation at a Raider game. I did have a difficult time using the voice activated answer feature. When i say answer the headset delays and i then have to hit the answer button and results in me losing the call. The headset also gets locked up and have to plug into a charger to restore and the headset disconnects for no reason at all but it reconnects with phone within seconds.
Battery- 5. I gave this rating not because this phone has about a 5 hour talk time, but the fact from a completely dead battery this headset can be completely charged in 30 minutes. 15 minutes for 3.5 hours. Simply amazing!
my overall rating is a 4. -

Summary: I've used MANY headsets and all them were $100 plus. I got this one for $60 on Ebay. It took me 2 weeks to get used to the fit,but now its all good. The "stealth mode" really..really works. You may sound a little funny but it works! My last headset was Blueant Q2.It was my favorite till I tried this one. And I'm using with Galaxy Nexus.

Doesn't work with G'Zone Boulder
by LewBob on August 24, 2011
Pros: Never worked so can't say. Fit is secure, but don't know if it would have been comfortable over a long period. Motorola needs to get the firmware upgraded as so many are reporting problems.
Cons: Causes my G'Zone to keep re-booting
Summary: I tried two of these with my Casio phone and both caused the Casio to keep rebooting after I paired them. I liked the solid fit but don't know ...
Summary: I tried two of these with my Casio phone and both caused the Casio to keep rebooting after I paired them. I liked the solid fit but don't know if it would have been comfortable over a few hours. I was looking for a sound upgrade from my older Plantronics but guess I will have to keep searching.
