Does what it is supposed to do

Pros: Connects quickly, turns on and off quickly, mini-USB charger
Cons: Small power button

Summary: I have owned many Bluetooth headsets (Blue Ant Z9, Plantronics Discovery 665), and have been very disappointed with most of them. I figured the more expensive and better reviewed, the better, right? Wrong. Connection issues, lost eargels, volume issues, bizarre charging tubes, you name it. So when my BlueAnt ran away (I lost it on the subway or somewhere along my commute?bye bye little Ant!) I decided to go cheaper. If they all suck, why spend big bucks on one? So I spent $45 and got a Motorola H375.
In short, it just works. When I turn it on, it connects immediately with a happy chirp in my ear. When the phone rings, I touch the Multi-Function Button and wow, it connects! When I hold the power button, it turns off quickly. I know these sound like novel ideas, but they were sorely lacking in the more expensive headsets I had.
Looks: I think all Bluetooth devices look fairly dorky, and I use them for safety and convenience, not for looks. That being said, the H375 is small and unobtrusive. It has a textured outside surface similar to a vinyl record album (if you?re under 30, Google it). The MFB is fairly large and has a shiny surface. If looks mean anything to you, it is modern but does not call attention to itself.
Fit: Headsets are very personal things. Only buy them from a place where you can return it easily. This is not the most universal fitting device ever. There are two small black rubber rings that you can interchange to make it fit better. One is circular the other is more oblong to fit the contours of your ear. With a little adjusting, I was able to make the headset fit pretty well. It stays on when I turn my head quickly and becomes mostly invisible to my ear. I don?t wear it non-stop (see ?dorky? comment above) and really only put it on when I am talking on it. I imagine that if you wore it for 12 hours straight, it would begin to hurt, but I have had no issues.
Sound: Here are the cold hard facts: no headset will work well in a loud bar, or when walking on a windy street with a fire truck racing by. All I hope for is my callers can hear me without echoes, and without sounding like I am in a tunnel. This does the job fine. My music ringtone sounds a little scratchy, and the chirp when I get an email is rough around the edges, but people sound fine and that is all that matters. It?s a phone, not a miracle sound device, so don?t expect more than the sound that comes from your home phone. The BlueAnt may have better noise canceling, but if it doesn?t connect, what good is it?
Battery life: I can?t attest for how long the battery lasts, as it uses a standard mini-USB and I have chargers everywhere that work with that connection. That was a big advantage for me when I bought it so I would not have to buy extra car and office chargers (and pack them on trips).
My one gripe even starts as a positive note: I like that there is a dedicated power button and not merged into the MFB. I have found that those unified buttons lead to accidental shut-down of the unit when you really mean to answer a call, start a call, etc. So a separate power button is great. However, the power button on this one is very small, and hard to find by touch. It is probably too minuscule if you have thick skin on your fingertips or big fingers.
Otherwise, the unit works. It doesn?t make you levitate nor will it solve your investment woes, but it works, and in the end that is what electronics are supposed to do.1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

Works Fine But?
by Maxintensity on March 5, 2009
Pros: Call quality is/was great, easy to use, was easy to pair with my phone (RAZR V3XX), choose motorola because I could use the same chargers. Voice Dial Works great.
Cons: Down side: The ear hooks may not last long depending on how you treat it , The ear pads are easily lost, The speaker & pad goes into your and doesn't fit my ear that well (I have small ears)
Summary: Overall good for first time users and/or those not wanting spend alot "got mine for $30 at Costco" although you can probably find it for cheaper than that now. ...
Summary: Overall good for first time users and/or those not wanting spend alot "got mine for $30 at Costco" although you can probably find it for cheaper than that now. Treat it with care and it should last about as long as mine or maybe longer, still works except the ear hook no longer holds it where I want it, "The repacement ear hook doesn't fit snugly like the original" (I've switched to the H715 just picked it up today at Costco, Will give review in about a month?)

Okay First Headset
by emike2k3 on November 5, 2008
Pros: Pretty cheap.
Mini-USB charger that happens to work with both by Q9c and Zen MP3 player which means I got a travel charger and headset for the same price.
Decent range.
Excellent battery life!Cons: Not the most comfortable headset.
Mediocre volume and sound quality.
Rubber ear pieces will fall off and disappear after a month or two and this makes the headset rather uncomfortable.Summary: This was my first bluetooth headset as I had never been sure of whether one would be worth it or not over a wired headset. If you've never used ...
Summary: This was my first bluetooth headset as I had never been sure of whether one would be worth it or not over a wired headset. If you've never used one before then this is a great "beginner" set as it will help you determine if bluetooth is something you want to use but after a while you will realize that you probably want something that is more comfortable, durable (ie not loosing ear pieces), and has better sound quality. If you're only after something that you will only use sporadically then this is a perfect match for you.
The fact that it offers the same Motorola travel mini-USB charger that the company sells for almost $20 can make this an excellent purchase decision and it has come in handy for me on more than one occasion as I mentioned earlier that both my phone and MP3 player use the same charging connection. -
Good product, great price, some flaws.

Summary: I am fairly happy with this product. It is great if you just want a cheap, quick Bluetooth headset for any phone, but there are some flaws. The battery doesn't last the full 8 days of standby that it says on the Motorola site, in fact mine only lasted about four days in standby, but charging only takes a couple of hours, so this isn't much of a problem. If you are looking for a headset under $40, I would definitely recommend this, but otherwise, I'd go for something a little more expensive.

Summary: I bought this headset at Costco a couple days ago ($30). The sound is good and it is very easy to use. I with the ear hook moved in and out and not just in a turning mostion. It feels a little insecure. It did fall off once when I had my head tilted. I'm mostly using it in the car, so for what I am using it for it works and you can't beat the price.
