The good: The Plantronics Voyager 835 is a discreet and comfortable Bluetooth headset with excellent sound quality. It also has Multipoint, which lets it pair with more than one device at a time.
The bad: The Plantronics Voyager 835 doesn't have extra ear tip sizes, and has a rather boring design.

Great headset, Highly recommend!
by jasot217 on March 21, 2010
Pros: I got this on Ebay for $30, brand new. It is the first Bluetooth headset I have had that no one has said "what did you say? or I can't hear you." I do home health, so I live and die by this thing. It's charge lasts quite a while.
Cons: If the radio is on, I have a hard time hearing the ring in my ear. I keep my phone on vibrate. No instruction manual comes with it, you have to download it from Plantronics.
Summary: Great headset, I highly recommend this! Shop around, there are huge variances in prices. I would have paid double for this, but I am glad I didn't have to ...

terrible sound quality
by lmhauben on December 9, 2009
Pros: it's a blue tooth headset
Cons: I have had this headset for 2 months and I hate it. The sound is terrible, especially on the receiving end. All my callers complain that they cannot hear me.
Summary: Plus, twice now the headset has gone silent on me. It said it was on, but I could not hear anything. I called Plantronics and had to remove the device ...
Summary: Plus, twice now the headset has gone silent on me. It said it was on, but I could not hear anything. I called Plantronics and had to remove the device from my phone, then redo the pairing. Oh, and there is a little rubber cover on the charger end that is difficult to open. Don't buy this one, the quality sucks.

comfortable earpiece, good sound quality, great value
by nelsons3 on December 7, 2009
Pros: I have a problem with most earpieces, specifically ones similar to ipod headphones, but this does not give me any trouble. the buttons are simple and easy to understand. Pairing is supremely easy.
Cons: Over time I have noticed a rise in the amount of static in calls.I use this headset the most when I am around the house or in my car, so i can leave the phone in one place. This yields excellent sound quality
Summary: I have had this earpiece for almost a year and enjoyed it. I especially like how sound gets directed into the ear canal, this helps boost what I would describe ...
Summary: I have had this earpiece for almost a year and enjoyed it. I especially like how sound gets directed into the ear canal, this helps boost what I would describe as an average max volume.
When i am walking with the phone in my pocket there is significant static. If I hold the phone in my hand it goes away.
Comfortable earpiece, good value, solid sound quality -
Excellent for using several hours a day, average volume
by crashbam on October 10, 2009
Pros: Great for using 6 hours or more a day. I use this for all business and personal and have never heard a complaint from listeners. None can tell if I'm driving, or outside thank s to noise reduction so play hookey with it! Lost it and getting another
Cons: Volume is much better than several ones I have used in the past, though slightly less volume than the 655 (which can be so loud that it hurts). Earpiece is not the tightest fit, but it never falls off thanks to the hook.
Summary: Excellent for my work and play, using it many hours a daily. So comfortable that I forget I have it on and people always remind me, "Are you on a ...
Summary: Excellent for my work and play, using it many hours a daily. So comfortable that I forget I have it on and people always remind me, "Are you on a call?". I lost mine and am replacing it immediately. I have backup BT headsets (plantronics 655) which are acceptable, but this one is my absolute favorite out of the 6 I have owned. There may be better ones, but I am taking no risk or chances in ending up with an inferior BT headset. Can't wait to get it back.

Terrible Sound Quality
by billymac on August 10, 2009
Pros: This is a comfortable headset, call quality on my end was good, but...
Cons: TERRIBLE sound quality for people on the other end. People said it sounded "echoy" and like I was "far away", and could I "get on a land line".
Summary: I am embarrased to be heard with this level of sound quality. I thought everything was great on my end, but everyone I talked to on the phone complained about ...

Very disappointed
by rosemaryg on June 23, 2009
Pros: I liked the fit, style (or lack thereof) was fine for me.
Cons: I bought one Friday night, tested it over the week-end and it had very poor sound quality. I brought it back to the store & they agreed. I exchanged for another yesterday and the reception was even worse. Maybe they got a bad batch in.
Summary: The sound was echo-y, hollow and the voices on both ends of the conversation were constantly breaking up. The store personnel agreed. My personal tests were done in quiet environments. ...

simple, sleek, and looks professional.
by kevin-chan on May 14, 2009
Pros: Very lightweight and requires minimum care.
One button takes care of almost everything.
Two easy to access volume keys.
Small and hardly noticable. My mother states that she barely felt a thing.
One hell of a mother's day present.Cons: It feels as if it is about to fall off (according to my mother).
It doesn't feel quite secured, because we barely felt the weight.Summary: For Canadians, this goes for $119.99 CAN, but you can try and haggle to get a few chits knocked off, which in my case, I got $40 knocked off, ...
Summary: For Canadians, this goes for $119.99 CAN, but you can try and haggle to get a few chits knocked off, which in my case, I got $40 knocked off, which was great because it happened to be Mother's Day. Simple to use, even for a tech-illiterate person like my mother.
