The good: The Samsung HM3700 Bluetooth Headset Kit is a compact mono-to-stereo convertible headset. It comes with a pair of stereo earbuds, and a 3.5mm jack adapter so you can use your own pair. Features include multipoint support, voice controls, and compatibility with Samsung's FreeSync Android app for additional functionality like text-to-speech for incoming messages. Sound quality is excellent.
The bad: The FreeSync Android app can sometimes cause the Samsung HM3700 to disconnect, and the text-to-speech feature is unsatisfactory. The HM3700 lacks music player controls.
The bottom line: If you can look past the failings of the Android app, the Samsung HM3700 is a useful and attractive mono-to-stereo Bluetooth headset.

Great value and very versatile.

Pros: This is the first Bluetooth hands-free device I've owned that people haven't complained about not being able to hear me during phone calls. The audio quality for calls is crisp and has none of the "warble" as with other Samsung devices.
Cons: The included micro-USB to 3.5mm adapter is a bit long and males the device a little cumbersome.

Summary: The HM3700 is a great universal USB solution for smartphones with multimedia applications. No one I've called or talked to while using it as a stand-alone hands-free headset has even asked if I am using a Bluetooth device or complained about not being able to hear me like with other devices I've used. The included stereo ear-buds sound almost as good as my Koss and Sony buds and have conveniently shorter leads and built-in auxiliary microphone. The Bluetooth range is also very good and far exceeds the manufacturer's rating with no dead zones or drop-outs. All things considered, the HM3700 is a great value.
