The good: Sennheiser's HD 238is are comfortable on-ear headphones that sound good for the money. They also have an inline remote and microphone for iPhone users.
The bad: The headphones fold flat but lack a compact design like the Bose OE2i headphones.
The bottom line: Priced less than Bose's OE2i on-ear headphones, the comparable Sennheiser 238i headphones deliver good bang for your buck.
Pros: - Reasonably comfortable ear pads (but definitely not as soft as the Bose OE2) - Cable connects on one side only - iPhone controls work great - Good sound with decent bass
Cons: - They are top-heavy. Wouldn't stay still on my head unless I stayed in my seat. - Bass is strong but doesn't go extremely deep - Overall sound is a bit more on the warm/dark side than I prefer, but I tend to like a brighter sound in general.

Summary: These headphones came very close to working for me, especially in the sound quality, but I couldn't get past their awkward fit. Because they are a bit top-heavy I had to perch the headband way up on the back of my head otherwise looking down would cause them to slide forward. When I tried to wear them around the house I found I couldn't bend over to pick things up without a lot of care. Maybe I have a weird shaped head (possible) or the particular headphones I got didn't clamp as hard as others (also possible). And anyway, it might be fine though if you are planning to use these mostly sitting down.
I used these for a while and then tried the Aiaiai Tracks for comparison. The Tracks fit much more securely, and the sound seemed less dark, but with more punchy bass. I loved the Tracks and preferred them to the Sennheiser 238i with the notable exceptions that the Sennheiser's cord and controls are much better, and its earpads are much more comfortable for long listening. The earpads on the tracks are pretty stiff and irritated my ears more quickly than the 238i.

This headset also features premium metallic components and exchangeable earpads for superior performance and durability.
