The good: Great-sounding and accurate 7.1 surround sound wireless headset with Xbox Live chat; removable boom mic; optical audio cable included.
The bad: Occasional audio pop and dropout; can interfere with other devices on the 2.4Ghz spectrum; requires two AAA batteries (included).
The bottom line: With their accurate 7.1-channel separation, the Turtle Beach Ear Force X41 headphones are great surround-sound headphones for the Xbox 360--or any other home theater component.

Overall they are great headphones!

Pros: Clear sound quality, adjustable game and chat volumes, easy to hook-up, and comfortable.
Cons: Price, 2 AAA batteries to power, some sounds in the game me be a hundred feet away, but it still sounds like it's beside you, and an occasional popping noise(not too bad).

WIth these you can play like a pro!

Pros: 7.1 surround sound, oversized 40mm hi-fidelity ear speakers, comfortable padding for ears, wireless and are crystal-clear.
This is the first headset i have bought and they are simply amazing! This is a reccommended product for them hardcore gamers!
Cons: The sound cuts (as if you unplugged a jack a bit) every now and then but its not a major problem. Anything that emits 2.4ghz RF signal could interfere with the X41s.

Summary: Overall, this is a must-buy headset for that hardcore gamer who wants the edge over everyone else which they can by utilizing the 7.1 surround sound fitted into this headset proccessed and decoded by Dolby Pro Logic IIx. The comfort when wearing this headset is just impeccable. When you wear this headset, you won't even realise that your wearing it. The X41s advantage of being wireless is another factor to the success of this headset which makes gaming easier by being in a comfortable position and not have to be tangled in wires or causing someone to trip up and damaging your headset. My experience using the X41s is astonishing on different games. Modern Warfare 2 sounded ace which i could hear everything, peoples footsteps, harrier jumpjet midair and firefights in the distance. When i was playing Borderlands the sound was exquisite especially with the beginning where the robot is talking and dancing. This headset just makes a gaming experience more enjoyable.

Can not use HDMI connection only HD/AV Cable

Pros: They are wireless and give you freedom from wires. Decent sound compared but not as good as a real surround system. I would get the Trittons Pro's but for all the wires.
Cons: CAUTION: If you have an ELITE, you can not use the HDMI connection with these! Cheap plastic so get warranty. Hiss in connections to controller. Caused echo in game lobby for other players (??). Will cut off with loud click if too far away

I wish BB offered another choice. The sound is fair to good but the bass is boomy. I do think they add a better sound than regular surround as you do not need to crank the sound up to hear detail. I think they give me an edge in the game. Do upgrade the optical cable as the one that comes with them is very thin and cheap. I did Monster THX optical because I have a few laying around. Over all, if you have the money, these are a fair choice for wireless but at some point there will be a better choice. They are worth $125.00 to me but not $179.00 I paid but if you have to have them...
