The good: The V-Moda Crossfade LP headphones feature an eye-catching design and solid construction that offers a comfy fit. The package includes several nice extras such as detachable cloth-covered cables, an iPhone/iPod remote and inline mic, and a stylish hard-sided case.
The bad: The Crossfade LP headphones don't offer the most balanced audio response, and they don't fold down flat for easy transport.
The bottom line: The V-Moda Crossfade LP headphones look good, feel durable, and offer plenty of desirable extras, but the clubby leaning to the sound space does not lend itself well to all genres of music. This set is best suited to DJs and dance music aficionados.

4) SEX APPEAL;)Cons: These are VERY warm sounding headphones, and that leads to songs having a little less clarity to them, and it can get a little tedious. The only other con is that not every person who buys these headphones will have enough Swagg to back them up;)

but music that doesn't need the bass emphasized, WILL sound a little out-of-focus. All in all, it still sounds great. A little tinkering with EQ settings have a HUGE difference in the clarity as well, so use them to your advantage!!

They are very durable and will probably last you a LONG time unless you are actually looking to break them. I usually go for R&B/Soul, Hip-Hop and Rap which all sound amazing due to the great bass these phones have to offer.

Pros: As a high school multimedia instructor, I listen to a lot of genres of music, from classical to rap, and these headphones are really great on the ears, and on the ears. They are very comfortable!
Cons: The price, could be a little less expensive. Their bulk is sometimes a problem.

The CNET reviewers assertion that the Creative Aurvana sounds better then the CF is completely ludicrous. Pay it no mind, the comment is ridiculous. The tight, clean, accurate bass is the strong point sonically for the headphone. I was concerned that they might come in boomy but when I got my pair I was pleasantly surprised. There are few people who have sampled more headphones then I have. As a hobbyist and having worked in the industry for the last 5 years I have heard them all. Crossfade strikes the perfect balance between accuracy and daily listenabilty w/ a variety of sources.
Does the Crossfade play as accurate and detailed as my Er-4s playing 24/96 Flac off my Peachtree? No, of course not, its not even intended to do that but its a rock solid daily wear pair of cans that provides really good audio and REALLY unique styling.1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

Pros: Amazing quality sound and bass. There is no mudding of the sound or gurgling or any distortion at all! I put these babies on and get lost in a work of bass that leaves me tranced for hours at a time.
The design of these headphones are amazing as well. VCons: A bit pricey but in many senses you really do get what you pay for.
