The Omron HJ-720ITC is a fully-featured, pocket pedometer featuring a built-in USB cable for easily uploading user graphs and stats to a personal computer. Featured is Omrons Health Management Software, a premium suite that allows users to track days, weeks, months, and even years of exercise. In particular, it measures standard walking steps, cardiovascular exercise steps, calories burned, and distance traveled. Also included is a Dual-Axis functionality wherein the device can be placed either horizontally or vertically at the hip, in a pocket, or clipped to a bag. According to expert reviewers, the Omron HJ-720ITC is completely silent and highly accurate. Unfortunately it doesnt come with an on/off switch or reset button; it automatically resets at midnight. Plus the pedometer is slightly larger than average. Pros: Tiny size, accurate, easy to set up
Cons:
Summary: No complaints about this pedometer. You can drop it in your front pocket or shirt pocket and never notice it is there. It's tiny size was definitely important in my decision to buy. Set up was easy, and the unit actually is designed nicely. I love that it resets automatically at midnight. I haven't used the accompanying software, but am hopeful that I am please with it as much as I am pleased with the pedometer itself.
