  Best calendar product I could find... has a few quirks.

  Pros: Easily shows age and anniversary count on events.
  Events can be customized so like events look similar.
  New print / view formats from previous version.
  Easily imported data from CC7.
  No issues loading on Win7 64bit.
  PDF save option

  Cons: Broderbund does not allow try-and-buy option.
  Information is very sketcy from the mfg. of what this product will do.
  Picture didn't show properly when multiple events were on one day.
  PDF print option didn't install correctly (documented bug).

  Summary: I was very reluctant to purchase this software due to all the bad ratings it had received. I am a former CC7 user and was very disappointed when CC7 would not load on Win 7, 64 bit. I downloaded and tested over 20 calendar software packages and NONE of them would print the age and/or anniversary count on a monthly view calendar. I even bought PrintMaster 2011 because it had a little better ratings and the package read as if it would allow you to enter events. Do not be fooled - it will not allow you to enter recurring events, although you can enter text on a cell.
  
  I print calendars for my famiy every year and I really was not interested in manually updating ages and anniversary counts for everyone every year.
  
  After reading some of the bad press and ratings for CC12.1, i was very reluctant to try it, but much to my surprise, it worked straight out of the box with all my previous events! I did have to create a new calendar view to get it to synch up the display on the screen with what the printer printed... but this was easy and actually worked better than how I remember it working in CC7.
  
  If you are looking for a simple to use product to enter recurring events on a calendar with various different count options, i would highly recommend this product. If you are looking for a picture editor moreso than an event tracker, i would suggest some other products that are created specifically for photo editing.
  
  Note: There are two different products on CNet listed as Calendar Creator Deluxe v12.1. I am reviewing the product pictured above which specifically says it is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

  Horrible version of a previously excellent product

  Summary: Our small business has used multiple versions of Calendar Creator since 1995 and we've been very satisfied with the program until now. We purchased CC 12.1 from our office supply store in May and have had continuing problems with the program crashing when using the Event List view. I contacted Broderbund (the software developer at the time) and after 6 weeks of sending emails back and forth, uninstalling/reinstalling the program, updating drivers, etc., etc., their tech support staff finally threw up their hands and said there was no solution to the problem. After Encore took over the program, I contacted their tech support to see if any updates or patches had been made. I described the problems again in detail. After 3 requests for help, I never received the courtesy of a response. DO NOT BUY THIS VERSION OF THIS PROGRAM.
