The good: Wirelessly transmits iPod music to your home stereo; lets you use iPod interface to navigate your music; digital audio transmission is free of distortion and interference; ultrasimple setup and operation.
The bad: Expensive; not compatible with Nano, Shuffle, video-enabled, or early-model iPods; transmitter contributes to iPod battery drain; cheap plastic construction.
The bottom line: The Belkin TuneStage makes it easy to play back your iPod's music over your home stereo.

Summary: Look, I'm all for gadgets, but what does this give you that a 3.5mm stereo to phono cable connecting your dock to your stereo AUX in does not give you apart from the ability to wander round the room? Bloody Ipod would run out of batteries after 6 hours anyway. For nearly 200 of your American dollars, I really don't see the point.

Summary: This does exactly what I need it to. I have a stereo amp that has speakers in my family room, dining room, kitchen, and outside deck. The amp is hidden away with a couple of wall knobs for volume of each set of speakers. Using this device I now have a music selector, remote control to take with me where ever I go. I have a dock that is plugged in to a power outlet in a very central location (end of the kitchen counter/breakfast bar) where I generally leave the iPod plugged in, so battery is not a huge issue. If I want song info I can just grab the iPod without having to hunt it down where the receiver is. I can also change tracks easily, or take it out on the deck for BBQ's.
My only real complaint is the fact that I can't buy additional receivers for a lower price, ideally ones that would wokr in a car. If I could get a car stereo unit (FM transmit has never worked well for me), then I could simply grab the iPod and take my tunes directly to the car, hardly skipping a beat.
Getting workin' on that Belkin.
