The multi-purpose projector!

Pros: The projector has great clarity, contrast, and brightness. Low sound level, low heat level, low total ownership cost.

Summary: I?ve had this projector for a couple of months now, great projector! Great lumens, great brightness! The great thing about BenQ projectors? compared to most of their competitors is that they are DLP, as I learned later. Having a DLP projector will save you on costs in the long run, although much like LCD projectors you will have to get your bulb changed, unlike LCD projectors, you do not have to deal with color decay. Another benefit is that being DLP, the projectors tend to have a lower average operating temperature therefore also having a lower operating noise level than the majority of LCD projectors.
The contrast ratio and brightness is absolutely splendid on this projector, even with the 4 pane windows barely covered in the conference room we use, the projector still does its job extremely well! I realized a month after that I could probably be putting this projector to better use, say bring it home for the weekend to share the usage with my own personal life? It worked like a charm. During the week I would use the MP624 for presentations with clients, or for internal meetings and on the weekends I?d take it back to my house and use it for the games or some movies with the wife. The clarity is great on this projector; even though it?s not a 1080p home theater projector the clarity is superb.
I would recommend this projector to anyone who is interested in buying a projector for teaching, presenting, or even leisure purposes. This will not be a great home theater projector as it would be way too bright for an all dark room, but it makes great for other purposes, or a room that is pretty well lit naturally.

Recommended education projector

Summary: Those who are in education know that projectors need to have special qualities to be selected by schools as education projectors. One is brightness, for example. Classrooms are often bright and come with different intensity and sources of light, e.g. sun. Sometimes the classrooms can't be darkened at all, sometimes only partly, curtains leak, part of the projection screen are dark, part are sun lightened, etc.
Also, students have different ways of perceiving displayed pictures with their eyes, some can get used easier to changing light sources, some not. So projector brightness is very important to show a good picture which can be seen well by all students.
The Benq MP624 is especially suited to fit these requirements. It is very bright (3000 lumens) and qualifies very well as a educational projector. Even if the sun shines through the windows the display can still be seen very well.
Moreover, it is a DLP projector which means it has low maintenance costs which is important for schools and educational institutions with tight budets. No filters need to be exchanged anymore.
Another important factor for educational projectors is the weight and the measures. This one is only 2.5 kg and measures 4.2 x 9.4 x 9.9 inches. This allows easy transportation and the device can be brought easily to classrooms.
All in all, this is a highly recommended education projector which stands out in its classroom projection capabilities. In the experiences of our school, a projector like this can in fact increase teaching quality, satisfaction and interaction with students.
