The good: Blu-ray-ready 5.1 home theater system; three HDMI inputs; three digital audio inputs; three stereo analog audio inputs; automatic speaker calibration; satisfying sound on movies.
The bad: Doesn't handle music well; no analog video connections; no onscreen display; iPod dock isn't included.
The bottom line: The Sony HT-SS360 is an inexpensive home theater system with generous HDMI connectivity and satisfying sound on movies, but don't expect it to deliver with music.
Pros: Produces excellent sound (for movies), excellent value overall.
Cons: Beware - this receiver does not support 3D video signal pass-through, so you'll have to run everything with 3D video output through the TV first.

Summary: If the lack of 3D video signal pass-through doesn't bother you, you can't go wrong with this system (unless you are buying it only for music, in which case, this might not be your best bet). The review nails it pretty well.
Pros: Instructions easy to follow. Calibration of speakers disclosed a loose connection. It seems to be quite a bit better than some of the highly touted B#$E systems. The Bravia interconnect makes use a pleasure.
Cons: Presence of wires to connect speakers.

Summary: The HT-SS360 system provides a great sound presence to help enhance any 5.1 video. The addition of a Sony BluRay/DVD player enables the Bravia capability which makes use of the system all but transparent and greatly enhances enjoyment. The presence of this system in our home all but precludes use of any of our other TVs even though one is attached to a different home theater product. The single remote is "worth the price of admission." My wife operates the entire system like a pro and she has been electronics phobic for ever. For the price its performance appears to exceed that of much higher priced systems.
