  Quality dependent mostly on end user.

  Summary: The Intec selector is a stylish addition to your entertainment center. However, its quality is directly dependent upon your intent. If you intend on building a superior home theatre system and this will be the hub that may also add some HD gaming, perhaps you might want to consider an alternative. But, If you have several old gaming consoles that you want to connect through one piece of equipment that looks at home among your mid-high-end electronics, you may have found it.
  
  Keep in mind, for each type of input, you must use the identical type of output, and therein lies the curse or blessing of this product. You can NOT hook up several different items and use the HDMI to connect them to your monitor or receiver. I have the following consoles running through it: 3DO (yeah baby), PS1, Xbox, and N64, through RCA hookups. They connect to my monitor through 1 RCA hookup. The blessing is having a selector that DOES NOT look like a videogame switch.
  
  There was no need to route my 360, Blueray or Tivo through, but I tried it just to see. There appeared to be some signal degradation (or interference) through the HDMI connections, and a slight delay through the component (360) hookup, which may have been gamer paranoia, but I insist I felt it. I did not bother with the ethernet connectors.
  
  BOTTOM LINE: If you have some older game consoles that you want connected to your modern monitor but your wife doesnt want you "junking up" the entertainment center, the Intec may be a cheap way to appease you both. And it doesn't look like another piece of gamer equipment.

  Great product that is simple to use

  Pros: Has enough connections for everything I need. PIcture and sound quality aren't affected by using this product. Magnetic remote comes in handy as it is small and will be easy to lose.

  Cons: Contrary to the other reviews the sound works fine with HDMI. The sound does not convert to the optical port on the output.So you need a receiver with HDMI if you would like surround sound.I however do not and will need to have HDMI go directly to TV

  Summary: The cables that come with this come in very handy. The one cable I really needed (optical) was of course not included. Cost was 139.99 at Micro Center. Seems a little pricey but it was exactly what I needed. I have a PS3, 360 , and a cable box and seems to all work great. Recommend this if you have too much crap and not enough connections.
