Okay for everyday printing

Pros: It is great for everyday printing for the price.

Cons: Would not recommend it for photo printing. The quality is not that good.

ink-guzzler

Pros: It can print ! It's cheap!

Cons: Even on lowest ink usage setting it guzzles the ink. It's the SUV of printers. I'm in graduate school and need to print out alot of stuff, sometimes internet info but mostly document. I end up buying a new blk ink cartridge every 2.5 weeks sometimes once

Bad printer

Pros:

Cons: Too easy to mis-align paper. Printer persistently reports paper jams that aren't there and prevents it from printing.

Cheap printer good for text printing

Summary: As a college student the deskjet 3650 worked well for me for about 2 1/2 years. Then all of a sudden it died and I am now looking for a new computer. For the time it did work for me I had to replace ink cartridges every 6 months or so and almost never used the color ink cartridges because the printing quality with color was absolutely horrible and sometimes non-existant. If you need something cheap to just print some text and only need it for a few years, this printer is for you.

Uses ink quickly, flimsy, but good for casual printing

Pros: Price is decent, prints are fast and sharp.

Cons: Flimsy construction, no USB cable included, AC adapter is cheap and large, sucks ink like there's no tomorrow. Photos don't print well (too dark).

good quality prints, uses lots of ink

Pros: the pictures all came out nice quality, no complaints ther, no graininess in my hi-res prints

Cons: after printing about 12 prints on 8X12 hi res settings, my factory color ink cartridge was nearly empty! will have to see if the replacement cartridges do better
