Other features include load/unload technology and glass substrate disks to enhance reliability and robustness to prolong drive life, as well as IBM-exclusive reporting tools, such as Predictive Failure Analysis, which alerts users about potential drive problems, and Drive-TIP, which monitors drive temperatures and decrease malfunctions.
