The good: The OCZ Agility 3 solid-state drive supports SATA 6Gbps and offers fast performance. The drive works in any SATA-based storage application and is relatively affordable.
The bad: The OCZ Agility 3, though fast, is noticeably slower than other SATA 6Gbps SSDs without being proportionaly cheaper. It's capped at only 240GB, takes a long time to format, and doesn't come with a drive bay converter to fit in a place of a 3.5-inch hard drive.
The bottom line: With fast performance and a competitive price, the OCZ Agility 3 SSD makes a very good replacement hard drive for any computer, especially one that has built-in support for SATA 6Gbps.
Cons: Unstable as hell. Maybe ok for a gaming computer, but not for a serious work

Summary: Its an untested product, with a defective sandforce chipset. Completely unstable, or well, the word is maybe unpredictable. Agility 3 SSD (I have 2 bought with 6 months difference, and I have tested them like in 6 computers with several OS's, and the problems are the same) makes system spikes of about 1 minute (it hang the computer for 1 minute), and from time to time (usually much time... from 1 day to 20 days) it makes a BSOD. If the SSD has an old firmware, you have to turn off (power cycle) completely the computer to the bios to recognize the SSD again.
Cons: Spinning beach balls of death galore. Cannot flash in OS X. Cannot flash in Ubuntu following OCZ directions. Cannot flash from OCZ custom startup .iso image. OCZ support contains varied, incomplete, and confusing directions -- and suggested I boot a
Summary: More trouble than it's worth, sadly. I had a good experience with an Agility 2 that I gave away when the Agility 3 came (alas, too soon...).

Part of the "Cons" section was cut off -- but the info that is there suffices.
Updated on Aug 18, 2011I returned mine to the seller for a refund after a full day-and-a-half (and many support emails) of fruitless attempts to get it to work. It never began to approach the speed of any standard hard drive I've had.
