I'm running Windows 7 64 premium on Asus Rampage 3 Extreme mobo with i7 950 No mention of any issues re this configuration so overall not happy as I can't trust it not to fail again.
Pros: Ultra fast. Large enough for OS and most software I want to run really fast.
Cons: The price is very high.

Summary: I read several reviews and was initially put off by various horror stories about drives arriving DOA, but I eventually bought the OCZ Vertex 3 240GB. I upgraded the firmware to 2.11 and first reaction was that W7 Pro Installed in about 10-12 minutes. I run the Trainz 2009 rail simulator and I found that loading times for a large Route have been slashed from minutes to seconds, and frame rates are incredibly smooth. When I Search my PC for something (like a photo) it is there instantly! Overall the difference between this and an SSD is "Night and Day". At UK £351 it wasn't cheap but what the hell? You get what you pay for.
Pros: Looks pretty a little faster...about 10 seconds faster than a Western digital 640GB Hard Drive in Raid 0
Cons: Lots...You will start noticing strange things happening to your computer (glitches) Blue Screens Of Death and CONSTANT FREEZING. On all motherboards with the X58 chipset this thing DOES NOT live up to the speed HYPE. They never warned the Consumers in the

Summary: I would not pick OcZ SSD's ever again. I rather get a SSD from a more reputable Company thats been around a lot more and has better support than OcZ. I don't mean Tech support on Forums ONLY like Ocz has about two people who give you Conflicting advice. I rather go with Intel next time.
Conclusion: Stay away from OcZ SSD's and if you want about the same performance get Two Hard Drives and put them in a Raid 0 Array.

Research about this SSD causing Freezing and not living up to its speed advertised. Lot's of forums online has people complaing. They never warned customers about the speed issues with Motherboards that have the X58 chipset! Stick with Intel at least they have better Tech support.
