  Cheap wireless mouse and keyboard, good buy

  Pros: Slim keyboard is easy to type on. Has shortcut keys. wireless reciever has a cord (not like a USB stick), allowing me to move it from the back of my computer to a place with better reception. Includes mouse. Durable

  Cons: Need FN key to use shortcuts. The mouse is quite basic, no side scrolling, back buttons, etc. Keyboard nor reciever have caps, num lock lights.

  Summary: The Logitech Cordless Desktop EX100 is a good buy. The keyboard is slim and is easy to type on. I like how it has shortcut keys, but unfortunately I need an FN key to use them. Fortunately, the wireless receiver for this mouse and keyboard set has a cord about 1 meter long (not like a USB stick), which means that I can move it from the back of my computer to a place with better reception. Unfortunately, the keyboard does not have lights for caps lock, number lock (probably for battery life), but suprisingly, the reciever doesn't have the lights either (unlike some higher end keyboards).
  Unlike some optical mice, this set doesn't show the laser from the sides (which I prefer). However, the mouse is basic, and has no side scrolling, back buttons or any other advanced features.
  
  As for battery life, I've had this set for 7 months, but have already gone through 3 sets of AA batteries. Meanwhile, I'm still on the included set of AAA batteries for the keyboard, which is probably because it doesn't need to operate a laser.
  
  Overall, I recommend this mouse/keyboard set if you need a good cheap deal, but I recommend spending more for a higher-end set from Logitech. The keyboard is good (except for the FN shortcuts), though the mouse is cheap and eats batteries every 2 months, and the wireless receiver could use lock lights (i keep hitting caps lock and only realise it was on when I start typing :().
